"An important part for the girl in an Indian wedding is the Mehendi."
Indian actress Priyanka Chopra and actor-singer Nick Jonas have tied the knot on December 01, 2018, in the first ceremony of their wedding in India.
Priyanka and Nick made their weddings vows to each other in a traditional Western ceremony at Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhawan Palace.
According to the media sources, the marriage function was officiated by Nicks’ father, ex-pastor Paul Kevin Jonas Senior. The couple also shared pictures of their Mehendi ceremony on social media.
The newlyweds described it as an afternoon that began the celebrations in a manner that they both had dreamt of.
The bride wore a creation by Ralph Lauren, who crafted an original couture piece.
Besides the bride, Nick, the bridesmaids and groomsmen all reportedly wore ensembles by the same designer.
The wedding festivities began with a Mehendi ceremony on November 29, 2018. Following day one of their wedding, an Indian Punjabi ceremony will take place on December 2, 2018.

Therefore it was fitting the bride paid this designer the homage by selecting him as the designer for her bridal gown.
The designer tweeted his joy at the couple’s marriage stating:
“Ralph Laren is honoured to have dressed the couple as well as the members of the wedding party.”
As of yet, there have been no official images released of the couple or the wedding party in their Western ceremonial outfits.
However, Priyanka and Nick’s wedding photographer did take to Instagram to share his awe at the beautiful couple in general.

She was wearing a bright multi-coloured yellow lehenga and even had some sunglasses to give the look a little edge.

Parineeti’s outfit complimented her cousin’s yellow lehenga nicely and is an excellent example of fashion coordination during Desi Wedding functions.
