American publication, OK! Magazine, has claimed that Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are heading for a divorce.
There were rumours that the couple got married so quickly that they did not take the time to draw up a prenuptial agreement.
A source told the magazine that the couple is quickly falling out of love now that they are “starting to really get to know each other”.
They were married in December 2018, but it is coming to an end according to OK!
“They’ve been fighting about everything – work, partying, spending time together. The bottom line is that Nick and Priyanka rushed into things and now they’re paying the price.”
The magazine stated that their marriage “is hanging by a thread”. The source added that Nick thought Priyanka was “cool and easygoing”.
“But recently Nick has seen a controlling side to her. She also has a temper – that’s something Nick wasn’t aware of until after the wedding celebrations.”
The source claimed that Nick’s family is “begging him to end” the marriage as they first thought Chopra was “this mature woman who was ready to settle down and have kids”.
They now think she is a party girl who “acts like she is 21”.
Although there is an extensive number of claims made, the rumours are false. In fact, the couple is very much in love.
A spokesperson for Priyanka stated that the OK! story was complete “nonsense”.
The couple has seen the false cover story and is planning to sue the magazine.
Priyanka’s associate said: “Once she makes up her mind to deal with negative rumour-mongering, nothing can stop her.
“Priyanka will let loose her legal team on this news-manufacturing tabloid and ensure they get to their knees.”
A source has said that Priyanka could claim millions of dollars in damages from OK! Magazine.
“The reports are nonsense. It has been going on for some time and Priyanka has been ignoring it.
“But this time this was the cover story and naturally, all the negativity associated with it was too much to take for Priyanka as she is a self-made woman.
“The insinuation that Priyanka is a gold digger and that Nick should have had a prenup agreement in place has pained her to no end.
“Her husband is extremely hurt. In all probabilities, the magazine can now expect a legal notice from Priyanka.”
It is believed that Priyanka and Nick have made an appointment with their legal team in New York.
They intend to create a draft of a claim notice and plan to send it to the magazine before filing a motion in an American court.
