Newlyweds Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone hosted a grand wedding reception in Mumbai.
The spectacular event took place on November 28, 2018, at The Grand Hyatt.
The pair tied the knot in a two-day wedding celebration in Lake Como, Italy on November 14 and 15, 2018.
The husband and wife then hosted a wedding reception in Deepika’s hometown of Bengaluru on November 21, 2018.
The happy couple are in no mood to stop the wedding celebrations. They beamed with joy at their second wedding reception. This time in Ranveer’s hometown of Mumbai.
DeepVeer as they are known to fans perfectly coordinated in their matching ivory and gold ensembles.
Deepika looked stunning in a Chikankari lehenga by designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. Ranveer was dashing in a matching sherwani by Rohit Bal.
Furthermore, the two seemed more than happy to pose for pictures and interact with the media.
At one point, Ranveer and Deepika held up a beautiful flower display, adorned with their initials.
In a sweet display of affection towards his new bride, Ranveer kissed Deepika’s hand.
The couple then entered the lavish venue, greeting guests.
Guests at the event included Ranveer’s extended family from Mumbai, as well as members of the media.
Deepika’s father former All England Champion Prakash Padukone, mother Ujjala and golfing sister Anisha were all dressed in ivory and gold, matching with the newlyweds.
However, Ranveer’s father Jagjit, mother Anju and sister Ritika instead opted for black and gold ensembles.
In a show of solidarity to his new family, Ranveer chose to match with Deepika’s family.
A look inside the venue showed beautifully crafted floral decorations, with flowers adorning the walls and pillars.
Several photos and videos of the happy pair have made their way online. Photojournalist Viral Bhayani posted a video of Ranveer turning DJ captioning it:

Ranveer can be seen grooving to tracks by singers Robbie Williams and Jason Derulo. Moreover, Ranveer’s wacky personality shows as he lets his hair down and enjoys himself.
Celebrity blogger and founder of MissMalini, Malini Agarwal was present at the event. She posted a picture of herself with the happy couple.
Deepika and Malini are holding hands, whilst the three of them are interacting. She wrote:
“I told them from the bottom of my heart, the way they look at each other makes my heart go bump. Doesn’t it? @deepikapadukone @ranveersingh.”
Deepika and Ranveer made sure to include their fans by posting pictures on Instagram. Both of them uploaded two of the same stunning portraits from their wedding reception.
On Deepika’s post, actress Karisma Kapoor wrote:
“Gorgeous couple @deepikapadukone @ranveersingh.”
Whilst Gangs of Wasseypur (2012) star Huma Qureshi posted: “Bas Karo,” with love hearts. The celebrations do not end there for Ranveer and Deepika.
Ranveer and Deepika will be hosting one more grand wedding reception in Mumbai, at the same venue, The Grand Hyatt.
The who’s who of Bollywood will be attending, promising to be a starry affair. The event will take place on December 01, 2018.
Bollywood stars including Shah Rukh Khan, Anil Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will reportedly be attending.
Fans can expect the event to be grand and royal, similar in fashion to the couple’s previous wedding receptions.
