Aria, whose real name is Gauthami, is a rising star in the K-pop world.
She is from Kerala, India, and is the second Indian to join the K-pop music genre, following Sriya, who is a member of BLACKSWAN.
Aria is a part of the girl group X:IN, managed by GBK Entertainment.
Her journey began with GBK Entertainment’s training programme called Universe.
In November 2022, GBK introduced Aria as a member of their upcoming girl group, MEP-C.
By early 2023, they removed her profile, indicating that she had left the group.

She joined under the name Ami before adopting her stage name Aria in November 2022.
Later, Aria was announced as the final member of X:IN.
The group made their debut on April 11, 2023, with their single ‘Keeping The Fire’.
Along with Aria, X:IN also includes E.Sha, Nizz, Nova and Hannah.

Aria’s roots lie in Kerala, where she started her career in acting.
She appeared in the Malayalam movies Melvilasam (2011) and Thank You (2013).

“After school, I used to watch songs on TV.
“One day, I turned on the TV as usual and was going about my chores when I heard music in an unfamiliar language.
“It was fun to hear, and much more to watch. I sat fixated by the TV.”
“Later on, I realised I was listening to the song ‘Blood, Sweat & Tears’ by BTS. It changed my life.”
