Delhi-based independent singer Sushmita Srivastava is set to release her new original Hindi song, ‘Sahare’, on Friday, October 30, 2026.
The track will be available on Spotify, Apple Music, JioSaavn and other major music streaming platforms, with its accompanying music video scheduled to premiere the following week.
Described as an emotional and soulful release, ‘Sahare’ explores love, vulnerability and the influence one person’s words can have on another.
The song opens with the lyrics, “Tum phool kahoge, khil jayenge / Tum dhool kahoge, bikhar jayenge”, which translates to, “Call me a flower and I will bloom; call me dust, and I will scatter.”
The lines reflect how words can affect a person’s confidence and emotions, particularly when they come from someone important in their life.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the release, Sushmita said: “Sahare is about how much of ourselves we place in someone else’s hands. I wanted to sing it simply, the way you would say it to that one person.”
The song features music by Benny John of Widespectrum Productions, while Bhrigu Parashar has composed and written the lyrics. Prince Pratap Singh has shot the accompanying music video.
The full video will premiere on Sushmita’s YouTube channel on Tuesday, November 3, at 7 pm Indian Standard Time.
