Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds is reportedly set to attend a special premiere in Los Angeles.
He will be attending the premiere of Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming film Ramayana: Rise of a Legend.
The event is scheduled to take place on October 27, 2026, ahead of the film’s release.
Reynolds is expected to follow traditional Indian dress code at the premiere.
The screening will take place ahead of the film’s wider worldwide theatrical release.
The premiere is being organised as a special Diwali-themed event in Los Angeles.
Guests attending the event have been requested to wear red traditional Indian attire.
This requirement will reportedly also apply to Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds himself.
According to a report, the screening will take place at a prestigious venue.
This venue is the David Geffen Theatre inside the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures.
The film will be screened in 3D format for approximately 945 invited guests.
The guests will include several Hollywood personalities and international media representatives.
Highlighting the scale of the event, a source said:
“This is a proud moment for India as this Diwali, 125 countries will get to learn Indian culture and Diwali celebrations.”
Producer Namit Malhotra is planning an extensive global rollout for the film’s release.
The production is reportedly set to open across 125 countries worldwide this November.
It is expected to release across approximately 50,000 screens globally upon its launch.
The Los Angeles premiere forms a central part of the film’s international promotional campaign.
Ramayana: Rise of a Legend is directed by filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari for a global audience.
The epic drama adapts sage Valmiki’s ancient text into a modern cinematic experience.
The film features Ranbir Kapoor playing the role of Lord Rama in the story.
Sai Pallavi plays Goddess Sita, while Yash takes on the role of Ravana.
Ravie Dubey plays Lakshman, and Sunny Deol portrays the character of Lord Hanuman.
Veteran actor Arun Govil also appears in the film as King Dasharatha.
The ensemble cast further includes actors Lara Dutta and Indira Krishnan in supporting roles.
Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh and Vivek Oberoi also feature prominently in the film.
Kunal Kapoor, Sheeba Chaddha and Saurabh Sachdeva round off the rest of the cast.
