Lakme and Amit Aggarwal’s AM:IT unveil Fashion Week Finale

Lakme and Amit Aggarwal’s AM:IT unveiled the 5PM Glam Reset at Lakme Fashion Week X FDCI, featuring Aneet Padda.

The collection formed part of the brand’s wider ‘5 PM Glam Reset’ concept

House of Lakme and designer Amit Aggarwal’s AM:IT presented the ‘5 PM Glam Reset’ at the Lakme Fashion Week X FDCI Grand Finale in New Delhi on October 18, 2026.

The showcase explored how women can transition from professional daytime dressing to evening glamour through fashion and beauty. Bollywood actress Aneet Padda, a Lakme brand ambassador, walked the runway to present the collaboration.

The finale highlighted Lakme 9to5’s latest beauty offerings, including its HYA Glam range, which focuses on creating a hydrated, high-impact glow.

The collection formed part of the brand’s wider ‘5 PM Glam Reset’ concept, celebrating the shift from work commitments to social occasions and festive celebrations.

Amit Aggarwal’s AM collection, titled ‘On a Day Like Today’, drew inspiration from everyday Indian life, incorporating familiar crafts, domestic objects and gestures into contemporary designs.

The collection explored the contrast between structured workwear and more expressive evening outfits. It combined utility, traditional craftsmanship, colour and ornamentation to reflect how personal style can evolve throughout the day.

Four personalities, known as The Clock-In, The Unwinder, The Escapist and The Socialiser, informed the collection’s design details.

These characters represented different moods and approaches to dressing rather than separate fashion categories.

Sunanda Khaitan, Chief Marketing Officer of Beauty and Wellbeing at Hindustan Unilever, said the collaboration reflected the way modern women move between professional responsibilities and evening celebrations.

She added that combining Aggarwal’s designs with the Lakme 9to5 HYA Glam range aimed to offer a beauty look suited to the transition from the workplace to after-hours occasions.

Aneet Padda also highlighted the versatility of the collaboration, explaining how makeup could complement an outfit and transform a look from simple to more statement-making.

Aggarwal said the partnership brought together fashion and beauty as ways for people to express different sides of themselves.

He explained that ‘On a Day Like Today’ reinterpreted familiar Indian elements through unexpected materials, textures and techniques.

The designer added that the collection focused on finding the extraordinary in everyday life while reflecting the changing energy and expression that can accompany the transition from daytime routines to evening plans.

The Lakme Fashion Week X FDCI Grand Finale brought together beauty and contemporary Indian fashion, with the collaboration placing festive dressing and personal expression at the centre of its presentation.

The finale highlighted how contemporary Indian fashion and beauty brands are reimagining festive dressing for women balancing professional lives with social celebrations.
