“30 saal ki mehnat mein padega.”
Bollywood superstar, Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) sent Twitter into overdrive with his recent question and answer session.
On Wednesday, 22 January 2020, SRK conducted the ‘Ask me anything’ session. He asked fans to drop in as many questions they wanted to ask the star with the hashtag #AskSRK.
The Twitterati jumped at the chance of asking Shah Rukh Khan various questions from Riteish Deshmukh, Sujoy Ghosh to fans of the actor.
SRK was asked numerous questions concerning life advice, chemistry, his IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders as well as his views on the Citizenship Amendment Act.
There is no doubt SRK’s witty nature ensured the question and answer session was a dose of entertainment.
One Twitter user, @iStormbreaker_ cheekily asked Shah Rukh Khan how much it would cost to rent a room in Mannat (SRK’s residence in Bandra, Mumbai)?
Shah Rukh Khan wittingly replied saying: “30 saal ki mehnat mein padega.” (It can be achieved only by 30 years of hard work).

According to Hindustan Times, Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat is a sea-facing bungalow that is estimated to be worth “approximately Rs 200 crore” (£21,353,160).
Previously, in an interview with Radio Mirchi, SRK revealed that Mannat is the most expensive thing he has ever owned.
Another user by the name Shahebaz asked Shah Rukh Khan for some advice regarding how to deal with hatred. He asked:
“@iamsrk How to deal with hatred we get for doing the right thing??”
The man himself bestowed his wisdom by saying: “The ‘right thing’ is a personal feeling. Not based on anybody else’s expectations or demand.
“Its your own self. Hatred and love for it should not define it … the right thing doesn’t look for gratification or acceptance … it just is.”

In another instance, one Twitter user asked SRK about his recent string of failed films.
The actor replied with his signature banter saying, “Bas aap Dua mein yaad rakhna.” (Just remember me in your prayers).
SRK continued to respond to numerous questions. The Badshah of Bollywood was asked:
“If you weren’t famous, what would you be up to right now?” to which SRK replied saying:
“I’d do the very same things I do around the house.”
“Being famous is not a job it’s a by-product of the work you do sometimes.”
Alongside his fans, SRK was asked a question by fellow actor Riteish Deshmukh. The actors worked with each other in the 2007 film, Heyy Babyy. Riteish asked:
“What is the one life lesson that you have learnt from AbRam @iamsrk.”
Shah Rukh Khan replied saying: “Whenever you are sad hungry or angry … cry just a little bit while playing your favourite video game.”
