“We’re thrilled with the overwhelming response in India."

Tom Cruise’s action-packed finale Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning has become the first Hollywood film of 2025 to cross Rs. 100 Crore in India.

Distributed by Paramount Pictures India, the film opened to packed cinemas and has sustained a strong performance throughout its run.

Cruise’s final outing as IMF agent Ethan Hunt has set a new benchmark for international films in the country this year.

Known for his relentless commitment to stunt work and storytelling, Cruise has delivered what fans see as a fitting end to the long-running franchise.

The film’s mix of high-stakes drama, edge-of-the-seat action, and large-scale spectacle has drawn crowds in cities and smaller towns alike.

It has also performed strongly across multiple formats and regional dubs. Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu versions have contributed significantly to its box office success.

Social media buzz and fan enthusiasm have helped drive consistent ticket sales.

One industry observer said: “Word-of-mouth and Cruise’s popularity with Indian audiences have pushed this film beyond expectations.”

The final chapter’s emotional depth and blockbuster action have resonated widely.

One fan wrote online: “This is how you end a franchise, with heart, scale and Cruise going all in.”

Analysts believe this strong performance could boost confidence in global releases for the months ahead.

The studio said: “We’re thrilled with the overwhelming response in India.

“Tom Cruise’s legacy and Indian audiences’ love for high-quality cinema have created the perfect storm.”

In a year still warming up for box office hits, Tom Cruise has proven once again that he remains one of the few global stars capable of drawing Indian audiences in such numbers.

Tom Cruise previously spoke about his love for India and his past trip to the country.

The Hollywood megastar told Avneet Kaur:

“I have to say the whole experience for me has been etched in my memory, every single moment from the moment that I landed.

“Going to the Taj Mahal, to spend the time in Mumbai with Anil [Kapoor] and all the people at the night of the premiere – I remember every moment quite vividly.”

He also spoke about his love for Bollywood films and his wish to work in one:

“When you look at Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning… I love travelling and I love working in different cultures, I would like to go back and I would actually like to make there.

“Well, I love Bollywood films. You know when you are seeing, you know the skill that it takes to do what you all do, that you naturally do.”
