"I am still not comfortable in shopping underwear online"
The Baadshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) has disclosed a rather peculiar fact, that he does not buy his underwear online because “it is a boy thing”.
On Thursday, January 16, 2020, the superstar attended an event to welcome Amazon globe CEO Jeff Bezos to India.
SRK took to Instagram to share a picture of himself along with director Zoya Akhtar and the man of the night, Jeff Bezos.
Along with the picture of the trio, SRK captioned it:
“Fun and learning evening with the Zordaar @zoieakhtar & the Zabardast @jeffbezos Thanx everyone at @primevideoin for arranging this.
“Aparna, Gaurav & Vijay Thx for ur kindness. #AmitAgarwal ur bow tie was a killer.”
At the event, Shah Rukh Khan revealed that despite doing all his shopping online, he cannot buy his underwear online. He said:
“I am going to plug my own brands as I do all my book shopping at Amazon. My groceries come from Big Basket.
“I have a confession to make … I am still not comfortable in shopping underwear online … It is a boy thing.”
Speaking with Jeff Bezos, SRK further revealed that he believes sleeping is “a waste of life” hence he does not oversleep.
The star was also asked about the influential women in his life to which SRK replied saying: “There are four; my mother, my sister, my wife and my daughter.”
On the work front, SRK has kept a low profile on the big screen after the failure of his last film Aanand L Rai’s Zero (2018).
King Khan has suffered a string of disappointments at the box office with his films like Jab Harry Met Sejal (2017), Raees (2017) and Zero (2018).
Despite this, his fans are eager for him to ignite the silver screen once again.
According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, SRK is set to make a comeback with a “social comedy.” The source said:
“Shah Rukh Khan had around 30-35 solid offers that he was considering seriously.
“These include projects from Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Yash Raj Films, Sajid Nadiadwala, T Series (and so on) the biggest of banners.
“Shah Rukh Khan has finally found what he was looking for. His next would be a film directed by Rajkumar Hirani which Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Hirani and Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies will produce (it).”
Meanwhile, SRK is enjoying some quality time with his family. Recently, the star attended his younger son’s Abram’s sports day event.
The little superstar won medals at the event and SRK shared the proud father moment on Instagram. He said:
“Day at the Races … My little ‘Gold Medal’ with his Silver and Bronze wins at the races today!!”
