When asked about the mission behind the directory Mr Mohan Singh Johal reveals:

“Our mission is to provide a service that is valued and brings the community together to grow and prosper further.”

Starting off as a small company in the spring of 1993 with the city of Birmingham, the directory has gone from strength to strength increasing their advertising portfolio as each year passes, and in 2007 expanded rapidly to include the entire Midland area. With every directory given away free of charge it relies greatly upon the success of the businesses advertised within its pages to enjoy a continual upward, growth and expansion of its operation.

With years of experience and an understanding of the British Asian market, traditions and cultures of the community, the directory has built up its reputation and encompasses an extensive range of services and products.

The directory has received such a tremendous response from both the Asian community and advertisers allowing it to become the success it is today. Being utilised as the primary source to locate a business or service it is able to reach out to a wider audience and potential customers through its online version and direct delivery of publications to individual homes.

Over the years, various Asian Business Directories have been started but were unable to keep up with the successes of the MSJ Asian directory with its in-house graphic solutions and competitive prices for advertising slots. When asked the reason for this and how they stood out, the founders son Gurvir Singh Johal has stated that, “We are a trusted Asian Directory by the Asian community that has been running for over 18 years, it’s provided the Asian community the links to Asian businesses
    that others cannot provide.”
