Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, who is expecting her first child with husband, cricketer Virat Kohli flaunted her baby bump in a recent post.
Despite the year 2020 being overtaken by the coronavirus pandemic, it appears this year has taken a turn for the better for Anushka and Virat.
On 27 August 2020, Anushka Sharma took to Instagram to share the exciting news with her fans.
She posted a picture of herself showcasing her baby bump along with Virat Kohli.
Flashing their smiles, Anushka also shared the due month. She captioned it:
“And then, we were three! Arriving Jan 2021.”
Many celebrities from the film fraternity took to the comment section to congratulate the pair.
This includes Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Katrina Kaif, Kiara Advani and many more.
On Sunday, 13 September 2020, Anushka delighted her fans with another picture of her growing baby bump.
In the picture, Anushka is seen looking down and tenderly cradling her baby bump.
She is wearing an oversized cropped white shirt with balloon sleeves and tie-die bottoms. She wrote:
“Nothing is more real & humbling than experiencing creation of life in you. When this is not in your control then really what is?”
Virat Kohli took to the comment section to express his love for his wife and their upcoming bundle of joy. He wrote:
“My whole world in one frame.”
Actress Zareen Khan also commented: “God bless.”
Diana Penty wrote: “So beautiful.”
Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan was another star who commented on the photo. She said:
“Bravest of them all.”
In fact, Kareena is also pregnant with her second child with actor Saif Ali Khan. The couple is already proud parents to their 3-year-old son Taimur.
The couple shared the news in early August 2020 in a joint statement. They said:
“We are very pleased to announce that we are expecting an addition to our family!! Thank you to all our well-wishers for all their love and support.”
On the work front, Anushka Sharma was last seen on the big screen in the 2018 film, Zero alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.
However, the film failed to impress at the box office. Since then, Anushka has remained behind the camera.
She has produced various projects under her banner, Clean Slate Filmz. Her latest production was a Netflix original film, Bulbbul (2020).
