It’s Priyanka Chopra’s 34th birthday!

The Bollywood babe celebrates in style in a birthday weekend bash in New York, where she is currently filming Season 2 of ABC’s TV series, Quantico.

PeeCee has an amazing time partying with her Quantico co-star Li Jun Li, showrunner Joshua Safran, and fashion designer Prabal Gurung.

And of course her manager Anjula Acharia, who has single-handedly launched her flourishing career in the US.

Let’s look back at how far Priyanka has come since her pageant days and what this multi-talented girl has accomplished by her 34th birthday!

Bollywood

Since storming into the acting scene in 2003, she has starred in over 50 films in Bollywood and has given us some of the most memorable roles we have ever seen.

PeeCee underwent martial arts training for her role in Don (2006). Then, she trained for four and a half months to portray Indian female boxer and Olympic medallist Mary Kom in the 2014 biopic.

Not only does she literally kick ass on the big screen, PeeCee has also earned a rare reputation for tackling complex characters brilliantly.

Fans will remember her brilliant performance as an autistic woman in Barfi! (2012), an ambitious fashion model in Fashion (2008) and a killer in 7 Khoon Maaf (2011).

Hollywood

2015 saw Priyanka burst into the Hollywood scene like a sparkling firework, as she makes history as the first Indian actor to headline a US TV show, ABC’s Quantico.

Before the action-packed and conspiracy-filled show premiered in September 2015, PeeCee fever took over the US in an impressive PR campaign.

Quantico picked up momentum week on week during the airing of Season 1. It was always trending on social media, thus introducing her to a much wider audience in the US.

She is ready to conquer the silver screen in 2017, playing a villain named Victoria Leeds in Baywatch alongside Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.

Music

Here is what Priyanka has to say about her singing: “I am shy about my singing. Farhan Akhtar has been encouraging me to sing since we were shooting Don.

“He is one of the first to encourage me to sing. We used to jam together.”

She has certainly come a long way since! The Bollywood bombshell has worked with will.i.am on ‘In My City’, Pitbull on ‘Exotic’ and DMX on ‘Meltdown’.

Fashion

Fans will remember how Priyanka became the first Indian female celebrity to front an ad campaign for fashion label, GUESS.

We love her more for using the opportunity to promote diversity:

“I think my campaign paints a new image of ‘the girl next door’ – she’s not just a blonde or brunette, she can be black, Indian, Asian, and Hispanic.”

The Dil Dhadakne Do (2015) actress is also a regular showstopper on the red carpet and numerous magazine cover shoots – from IIFA and the Oscars to Maxim India and Esquire.

Property

Rumours were doing their rounds in 2014 that PeeCee was looking to buy a luxurious 15-bedroom bungalow in Versova that cost over Rs. 100 crore!

It emerged a year later that she has chosen an equally lavish property in Vile Parle, as sources revealed: “She owns three apartments in Raj Classic, but wanted a bungalow for her family.

“Over the past year, she checked out many houses and met dozens of real estate agents, but no property caught her fancy. A few months ago, she chose a house in JVPD scheme and will shift there by the end of August.”

But as her acting career began to take off in the US, PeeCee also rented a mansion in Canada for when she was shooting for the first season of Quantico.

Now preparing for the show’s Season 2, she has invested in a swanky apartment in New York where she had her birthday party.
