The plot will see the duo come together.
Priyanka Chopra has joined a star-studded cast including Anthony Mackie in the upcoming action-packed thriller Ending Things.
The film has been compared to True Lies, the 1994 action comedy in which a secret agent tries to save the world and his marriage after his wife has an extramarital affair.
Ending Things is Priyanka’s second major Hollywood film after Matrix Resurrections.
The action thriller will be directed by Kevin Sullivan who will also serve as a writer.
According to reports, the plot of the film will revolve around a hit-woman who wants out of the assassin business and tells her ‘business’ partner that she’s putting an end to their relationship.
However, the hit-woman soon realises she doesn’t want to end that part of their bond.
The plot will see the duo come together for their last job for one last night out post-breakup.
Davis Entertainment and Lit Entertainment will produce the film with Inspire Entertainment and Make It With Gravy Productions.
The Baywatch actress made her international debut with the series Quantico which showed her pulling off the action genre well, which gives fans high hopes for her acting in Ending Things.
The actress will also be seen in the upcoming action spy series produced by the Russo Brothers, titled Citadel which will be released on Amazon.
The new film is one of many projects in the pipeline for Priyanka, who welcomed her first child with Nick Jonas in January 2022.
The high-profile couple welcomed the arrival of their first child with a joint statement on Instagram.
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ post read:

“We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much.”
According to reports, the couple welcomed a baby girl, with other sources stating she had unexpectedly arrived 12 weeks early.
Priyanka’s cousin Meera Chopra also revealed in an interview that the couple’s newborn is a girl:
“Priyanka always wanted to have a lot of kids.”
“So, I am very happy for this new chapter in her life, she is going to be a super mom to her baby girl.”
In addition to Ending Things, Priyanka is also working on Text for You, Sheela, Jee Le Zaraa and Cowboy Ninja Viking.
