Vicky Kaushal is rumoured to be joining the cast of Jee Le Zaraa.
According to reports, the Sardar Udham actor has been offered a role in Farhan Akhtar’s next film which features Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles.
A source revealed: “The decision of approaching Vicky Kaushal to feature in the film is pure gold.
“Now add to that the plan is to cast him opposite Katrina Kaif, which will make Jee Le Zaraa the first film the couple feature in together.
“This in itself is a marketing dream and makes promoting a film that much easier.”
The source added: “With Farhan Akhtar casting himself and now Vicky also being roped in that leaves just one male lead role vacant and casting one person is far easier than three, and that too in a film that is based on three female leads.”
Jee Le Zaraa, which is based on an all-female road trip, is written by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti.
Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar will co-produce the film which is set to release in 2023.
If Vicky comes on board, Jee Le Zaraa will mark his first professional collaboration with Katrina.
In other news, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif celebrated their first Lohri together.
Katrina took to her Instagram Story to share several photos of the couple in which they could be seen wrapped in each other’s arms.

Despite the Bollywood duo’s busy schedules, the couple has been making sure to celebrate their first festivals together post-marriage.
Earlier, Vicky had flown to Mumbai to celebrate his first Christmas with his wife.
Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal got married in the presence of a few friends and family members in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan in December 2021.
The couple tied the knot after two years of dating.
On the work front, Katrina Kaif was last seen in Rohit Shetty’s cop drama Sooryavanshi, alongside Akshay Kumar.
She will next be seen in Tiger 3 with Salman Khan. She also stars in Phone Bhoot alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter.
Vicky Kaushal is currently in Indore shooting for his next film with Sara Ali Khan.
He also has Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur co-starring Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh in key roles.
The actor has also been roped in for Aditya Dhar’s The Immortal Ashwatthama and Karan Johar’s Takht.
