Farhan Akhtar & Shibani Dandekar to Wed in March 2022?

Actor and filmmaker Farhan Akhtar and his girlfriend Shibani Dandekar have been providing their fans with relationship goals ever since the two started dating.

From social media PDA to romantic outings, the two have been inseparable and if recent reports are deemed to be true, the duo has decided to take their relationship to the next level.

The buzz surrounding Farhan and Shibani’s rumoured wedding has increased as recent reports have suggested that the couple is planning to tie the knot in March 2022 in a low-key ceremony.

The reports further suggest that the couple has booked a five-star hotel for their wedding which will be an intimate affair.

Considering the current Covid-19 situation, Farhan and Shibani have reportedly decided to say their vows in front of an intimate gathering.

A source close to the couple said: “Farhan and Shibani are living together and they don’t want to delay their wedding amid the pandemic, and so, they thought to keep it an intimate affair.”

The couple initially wanted their March wedding to be a lavish ceremony but the surge in Covid-19 cases has made them reevaluate their plan.

As a result, Farhan Akhtar and his girlfriend have decided on a low-key affair to prioritise their health alongside their guests.

Reports have also suggested that the star duo will be seen in head-to-toe Sabyasachi looks on their wedding day.

The couple has reportedly opted for pastel colours.

Farhan and Shibani have been in a relationship for over three years after they started dating in 2018.

Farhan Akhtar was previously married to Adhuna Bhabani with whom he has two children, Shakya and Akira.

The couple divorced in 2017.

Meanwhile, Farhan and his girlfriend celebrated Christmas with Shibani’s sister Anusha Dandekar, Rhea Chakraborty, Milind Soman and his wife Ankita Konwar.

In an Instagram post shared by Anusha Dandekar, Farhan and Shibani could be seen smiling and having fun together.

Anusha wrote: “Christmas is always so special because my friends and family make it that way by always coming together for this day.

“We have Secret Santa which is super low budget so people get creative. We have delicious food and drinks which I’m so very grateful for.
