Would Mia Khalifa date a Woman?

Mia Khalifa spoke about what she is looking for in a potential partner and seemingly did not rule out a same-sex relationship.

The former adult film star appeared on Stephen Bartlett’s Diary of a CEO podcast.

Mia has had an intriguing relationship history.

After moving to the United States, she married a man just four days after her 18th birthday.

On the podcast, she claimed that her husband was the one who “pressured” her into the adult film industry.

They separated in 2014 and divorced in 2016.

In 2019, Mia married professional chef Robert Sandberg, however, they separated in 2020.

Most recently, she was in a relationship with Puerto Rican rapper Jhayco. But several cryptic posts on her social media suggested they had split up.

Speaking to Stephen, Mia admitted that she has found it “difficult” to find a relationship, although she stated that she is “not trying”.

She explained: “I’m not trying. I’ve been a serial monogamist for a while. I got out of a longish term relationship, it’s difficult but I also haven’t tried.

“I don’t know what I’m expecting, I haven’t gone into the dating world in probably six years, I’ve been in long-term relationships.”

Stephen went on to ask what she was looking for in a partner.

Mia replied: “Emotional intelligence, and a good relationship with their therapist and with therapy in general, who’s constantly working on themselves, is self-aware, and understands the ebbs and flows of life and emotions, and how it’s not always going to be even-keeled how it will oscillate.

“But that doesn’t mean go from good to toxic, it means go from good to needing a little more support than you normally have.”

Stephen remarked: “Men are not necessarily the best at emotional intelligence.”

Suggesting she would be open to dating a woman, Mia laughed and replied:

“I’m not ruling out women.”

Even though Mia Khalifa has admittedly struggled to find a relationship, she has given out relationship advice in the past.

She previously issued a warning to men who expect their partners to replicate pornstars in the bedroom.

On BBC’s HARDtalk, she told Stephen Sackur:

“Everyone watches porn.

“It affects relationships, and porn addiction is very prevalent – the things men see in the videos and expect from the women in their lives is not reality.

“No one is going to do those acts on a Wednesday night with the ones they love.

“I wanted to do porn as my dirty little secret, but it blew up in my face. It was terrifying.”
