"They are falling short in so many places"

Mia Khalifa criticised men who choose to date much younger women.

The former adult film star appeared on the High Low with Emrata podcast where she and host Emily Ratajakowski discussed sex work, shame, body image and control.

During the podcast, Mia told the model that she believes men who deliberately seek out women who are much younger than them are power-hungry and sad.

Mia said: “Any guy who goes after a girl significantly younger than them is severely lacking in their life and I mean that confidence-wise.

“They are falling short in so many places and that is the only place they can turn to feel like they have something on the scale of power.”

Emily agreed with Mia, saying:

“Ultimately, it’s predatory.

“Because you’re manipulating someone who is not aware of what they’re giving you. And it’s unfair.”

Mia’s opinion did not go down well with many social media users.

One said: “Disagree. Been in beautiful relationships with someone 10 years older and also 10 years younger.

“Sometimes people from different ages simply like each other a lot and fall in love.”

Another user said: “As long as the relationship is consensual, respectful, and obviously legal then what’s the problem? Context is important.”

One person gave a unique take on why such relationships happen:

“I think men have an inert biological disposition to find younger women much more attractive because of their fertility.

“Not that they want to have babies but it’s just in our biology to find a younger woman attractive.”

Others criticised Mia Khalifa for “guy-bashing”.

One user was offended by Mia’s statement and said:

“So what about any woman who goes after a guy who is significantly older or younger?

“Or is this just meant to be a platform for guy bashing from these two that have a lot to learn about life?”

This is not the first time Mia has criticised men who prefer to date younger women.

She previously targeted Leonardo DiCaprio after he broke up with Camila Morrone just a few months after her 25th birthday.

The actor has never publicly dated a woman over the age of 25 and in recent years, he has been criticised for his age-gap romances.

Mia gave her opinion on why his relationships never last.

She tweeted: “Maybe it’s not Leo dumping his girls as soon as they turn 25, maybe his girls outgrow him when their brain fully forms at 25 and they realise they don’t want to be with a 47-year-old manchild.”

On the High Low with Emrata podcast, Mia also gave advice to those who want to get into the sex industry.

She said: “Never sign anything with the words ‘in perpetuity on them, never, ever.

“That is my biggest takeaway that is my biggest piece of advice.”

Mia also recommended that every person have their “own lawyer look over a contract” before signing anything.

She added: “Never think that someone else who is putting a piece of paper in front of you has your best interest at heart.”
