Ambika and Kishor had sex in front of Mahesh to taunt him
It has been revealed that an Indian man committed suicide after his wife had sex with her lover in front of him. As a result, the woman and her lover have been arrested.
The suicide happened in April 2020, however, the reasons for the death came to light in January 2021 when the deceased’s mother found his suicide note, dated April 2019.
Leela Jadhav was left devastated when her 42-year-old son Mahesh took his own life on April 9, 2020.
His body was recovered from the Narmada River in Gujarat the following day.
Leela did not know why her son committed suicide until the first week of January 2021. She had been cleaning out her son’s cupboard when she came across a suicide note.
The note was dated April 8, 2019, almost a year before he took his own life, meaning he had been planning his suicide for almost a year.
Discovered in the folds of a bedsheet, the note stated that Mahesh took his own life because his wife had sex with her lover in front of him as a means of taunting him due to his impotence.
Leela alerted the police and a case was registered against the woman and her lover.
According to the FIR, Mahesh had left his first wife and had got married to Ambika Marathe in 2018.
In the letter, Mahesh explained that a few months after getting married, he developed erectile dysfunction and Ambika started calling him impotent.
He went on to say that his wife began having an affair with a man called Kishor Bhil and that she would call him to their home regularly.
The suicide note alleged that on one occasion, Ambika and Kishor had sex in front of Mahesh to taunt him for his impotence.
The note read:
“I asked them to end their relationship as it was badly hurting me but they continued to insult me.”
“As they have refused to stop, I will commit suicide.”
On April 9, 2020, the Indian man disappeared. The following day, police found his body in the Narmada River.
A case of accidental death was registered and an investigation was underway, however, it was not known why he took his own life.
In January 2021, his mother discovered the note in a bedsheet inside his cupboard which revealed why. Police have arrested Ambika and Kishor and a case of abetment to suicide was registered.
