"Whatever time we get we spend it with one another"
Deepika Padukone revealed how she and Ranveer manage marriage and work, yet still spend quality time together.
Deepika and Ranveer are notably one of Bollywood’s much-loved couples. After six years of dating, the couple tied the knot on December 14, 2018.
The ceremony was a traditional Konkani-style wedding followed by Sindhi rituals at Lake Como in Italy.
Fans are always delighted with their PDA (Public Display of Affection) moments, be it their loved-up posts or funny comments.
The couple has appeared in Bollywood films like Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastaani (2015) and Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela (2013).
There is no denying the alluring chemistry of Ranveer and Deepika both onscreen and off-screen.
Deepika and Ranveer are set to feature in Kabir Khan’s 83 (2020). This will be the first time the couple will star in a film post marriage.
The film follows the life of cricket legend Kapil Dev portrayed by Ranveer. Deepika Padukone will play the role of Kapil Dev’s wife, Romi Dev.
According to an interaction with Hindustan Times, Deepika candidly spoke about working with Ranveer after marriage. She said:
“It wasn’t any different from the earlier times. We are both so obsessed with our work that onset, we don’t really think about our personal relationships.
“All we think about are the character and the nuances of the scenes.
“When the camera starts rolling, we are actors not husband and wife.”
It comes as no surprise that the couple is continuously busy with their hectic work schedules. This makes finding time for one another quite challenging.
After the couple appearing together in 83, Ranveer will begin shooting for YRF’s Jayeshbhai Jordaar (2020).
Whereas, Deepika will have her hands full with Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak (2020). Up next, Deepika will portray the role of Draupadi in The Mahabharata (2020).
Deepika went on to reveal how they manage to spend some quality time together. She stated:
“Yes, we have been extremely busy. We have had our hands full with our professional commitments and it will be like this for a while.
“But despite that, whatever time we get we spend it with one another and we value that and look forward to it.”
The couple is fast approaching their first wedding anniversary. To celebrate this joyous occasion, Deepika and Ranveer will be spending the day with their families.
They will be visiting the Tirupati Balaji Temple and the Padmavathi Temple on November 14, 2019.
After that, they will jet off to Amritsar where they will visit the Golden Temple on November 15, 2019
We wish Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh a happy anniversary and hope to see their love and marriage grow.
