Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh surprised fans with the announcement that they are expecting their second child together.
In a heartwarming post, an image featured their daughter Dua holding a positive pregnancy test.
The post quickly went viral and received congratulatory messages from fans and fellow celebrities.
Katrina Kaif, who welcomed her first child in November 2025, said: “Congratulations.”

Ranveer and Deepika have been married since 2018 and in September 2024, they welcomed Dua.
On the work front, Ranveer Singh seems to be enjoying his best run yet.
Dhurandhar and its sequel were box office superhits. Both are among the top five highest-grossing Indian films worldwide.
Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone is working on King, alongside Shah Rukh Khan, and Allu Arjun’s Raaka.
It is reported that she will continue working on both films, including action sequences.
According to sources, the actress is currently filming “intense action sequences” for King, with all required precautions in place.
Filmmakers are said to be adjusting schedules carefully to accommodate her pregnancy while keeping the film on track.

Away from acting, Deepika has been advocating for less strenuous film schedules since becoming a mother. She has reportedly prioritised an eight-hour shift model for her work commitments.
According to reports, she stepped away from Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit and Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD Part 2 after producers did not agree to her scheduling conditions.
Deepika has often opened about how becoming a mother has changed her life.
She previously said:
