Andaz Apna Apna (1994) is one of Bollywood’s most-loved comedies. Rajkumar Santoshi directed the film.
It is also the first and currently the only film to star Aamir Khan and Salman Khan together onscreen.
Aamir and Salman play Amar Manohar and Prem Bhopali, respectively. They are two hapless conmen who try to cheat a rich heiress.
The movie also featured Raveena Tandon and Karisma Kapoor as the female leads.
Meanwhile, Paresh Rawal and Shakti Kapoor appeared in pivotal supporting roles.
In exciting news, Andaz Apna Apna is set to be re-released in cinemas later in 2025.
The trade analyst, Taran Adarsh, announced the news via his X account on February 12, 2025.
A special teaser for the re-release will be released on February 13. Users on X were delighted with the news of the re-release.
One fan wrote: “Will break all re-release records. People are waiting for the sequel as well.
“Watching this epic movie in theaters will be a treat for cine lovers.”
Another added: “I’m seated for this one!”
A third person wrote: “This is a great move by makers. It’s not a cult classic, but in memory of every cinema lover.”

Andaz Apna Apna was produced by Vinay Kumar Sinha, who passed away in 2020.
His daughter, Priti Sinha, said: “We have restored and remastered the whole film in 4K and Dolby 5.1 sound.
“It’s our tribute to our father, who stood against all odds to make this film, and we are tremendously proud of this legacy.”
Interestingly, the film flopped miserably at the box office when it was originally released.
However, via home entertainment, it gained a new lease of fame and has since become a classic.
Fans love the comedy, dialogue, and scenes shown in the film.
In March 2024, Aamir teased fans with the idea of a sequel to the comedy.
He revealed: “I’ve just recently found out that Rajkumar Santoshi is working on Andaz Apna Apna 2. The news is quite new.
“I think all of us will enjoy watching the film.”
Andaz Apna Apna is set to be re-released in April 2025.
The film also featured Juhi Chawla and Govinda in special appearances as themselves.
