“I still think about you, Pia.”
Simone Ashley takes on the role of Pia in Picture This, a romantic comedy set to release on Prime Video on March 6, 2025.
The film follows Pia, a struggling photographer, who is told she will find true love and career success within her next five dates.
As her sister’s wedding draws near, Pia’s well-meaning but meddling family sets her up on a series of blind dates.
Things get complicated when her ex-boyfriend Charlie, played by Hero Fiennes Tiffin, suddenly reappears.
The trailer teases a blend of awkward dates and unresolved feelings as Pia navigates life, love, and family expectations.
In one scene, Charlie admits: “I still think about you, Pia.”
When she doesn’t respond, he presses: “You just drew that out of me. You’re not going to respond to it?”
Her best friend Jay (Luke Fetherston) encourages her to reflect on her past with Charlie, while her sister Sonal (Anoushka Chadha) takes on the role of matchmaker.
Pia’s mother, Laxmi (Sindhu Vee), also adds to the pressure with constant reminders about finding the perfect partner and wedding traditions.
Pia’s dates include a wealthy heir (Asim Chaudhry), a free spirit (Phil Dunster), and a schoolteacher (Nikesh Patel).
But despite these encounters—and some extreme situations involving nut allergies and walking across hot coals—it’s Charlie who lingers in her mind.
Fans were quick to share their excitement after the trailer’s release.
One viewer said: “March 6? Why not this weekend? This looks like a perfect Valentine’s Day movie.”
Another added:

Directed by Prarthana Mohan and written by Nikita Lalwani, Picture This is inspired by the 2024 Australian hit Five Blind Dates.
The film is produced by Ben Pugh and Erica Steinberg, with the Bridgerton star also serving as an executive producer.
The cast features a mix of familiar faces, including The Wheel of Time’s Luke Fetherston, Indian Summers actor Nikesh Patel, comedian Sindhu Vee, and Citizen Khan star Adil Ray.
Supporting roles are played by Anoushka Chadha, Eben Figueiredo, Kulvinder Ghir, Asim Chaudhry, and Ted Lasso’s Phil Dunster.
Simone Ashley is also set to appear alongside Brad Pitt and Damson Idris in the upcoming racing film F1.
Picture This premieres globally on Prime Video on March 6.
