The South Asian Beauty Collective aims to promote greater representation

The inaugural South Asian Beauty Collective Awards brought together stars from television, entertainment, beauty and culture at The May Fair Hotel in London.

Hosted by ITV’s Good Morning Britain presenter Ranvir Singh, the ceremony recognised brands, founders, creators and industry figures contributing to representation and inclusion across British beauty.

Thirteen awards were presented across retail, digital engagement, product innovation, wellbeing, community impact and representation.

Founded by beauty industry leader Aarti Pal, the South Asian Beauty Collective aims to promote greater representation, opportunity and cultural understanding across the British beauty industry.

Sephora, Kama Ayurveda and Armani Beauty were official partners, while L’Oreal Paris, Tatcha, Fable & Mane and Nirvana Brands supported the event.

Guests included musician Anoushka Shankar, chef and Netflix personality Asma Khan, former England cricketer Isa Guha and Apprentice 2026 winner Karishma Vijay.

Love Island personalities Priya Jaswal and Shakira Khan attended alongside actress Preeya Kalidas.

Actors Priya Davdra, Priya Kansara, Nikkita Chadha, Anoushka Chadha, Jason Patel and Nisha Aaliya were also among those attending.

The programme featured a spoken-word performance from Jaspreet Kaur and a Bollywood dance performance by Nileeka.

Singer Sonna Rele, known for appearing on The Voice, also performed, while DJ Henna provided music during the evening.

Speaking about the ceremony, Aarti Pal said the awards brought mainstream brands, South Asian-founded businesses, retailers and industry figures together.

She said the winners reflected the “influence and commercial impact” of South Asian beauty across the UK.

On founding the South Asian Beauty Collective, Aarti said:

“When I founded the South Asian Beauty Collective, the ambition was never simply to create greater visibility for the South Asian community.

“It was to help create meaningful, lasting change within the British beauty industry, opening doors, creating opportunities and ensuring that a community which has contributed so much culturally and commercially to beauty has a meaningful voice within it.

“For me, this has always been about building something that extends beyond any one event or moment.”

“I want the Collective to contribute to a British beauty industry that is more representative, more culturally informed and more accessible to the next generation, and to make sure the progress we create today becomes something they can build upon tomorrow.”

The awards were presented by modernspace and supported by the British Beauty Council.

Beauty giant Sephora won the Retail Excellence Award.

Meanwhile, Millie Kendall, CEO of the British Beauty Council, received the Beauty Icon Award.
