Karan Aujla has released his highly anticipated new EP Aujla SZN 1, marking the first half of a two-part musical project.
The Punjabi singer and rapper released the five-track EP on September 25, 2026, following weeks of teasers and anticipation surrounding his latest music.
Aujla SZN 1 features ‘Ashke’, ‘Real Badman’, ‘Rap Killa’, ‘Straight Up’ and ‘Aujla SZN’.
The project sees Aujla explore a rap-focused sound, with the EP built around hip-hop influences and a harder musical direction.
The release follows Karan Aujla’s announcement earlier this month that he was preparing two separate EPs, with each project featuring five songs.
While Aujla SZN 1 focuses on rap and hip-hop, the second EP is expected to explore a more melodic and romantic side of the artist.
The two projects are being released separately, giving fans two different sides of Aujla’s musical style.
Karan Aujla previously revealed the artwork and tracklist for both projects during an immersive fan experience in New Delhi on September 22.
Titled ‘Two EPs. One Room’, the experience allowed fans to step into two separate creative spaces representing the upcoming projects.
The artwork was presented alongside the unreleased music, giving fans an early look at the visual direction behind the project.
The artwork was created by experiential designer and art director Aaquib Wani, who incorporated the music into a wider physical installation.
The release also comes with a wider visual campaign, with reports suggesting that music videos have been planned for the five tracks.
Some of the videos were filmed in Jaipur as part of the rollout, adding another visual element to Aujla’s latest project.
Aujla SZN 1 follows Aujla’s recent run of releases and continues his expansion across the global Punjabi music scene.
The singer has previously delivered tracks including ‘Winning Speech’, ‘Softly’, ‘Admirin’ You’ and ‘Wavy’, building an international audience through his music.
With the first EP now available, attention will turn towards the second project and how Aujla develops the contrasting musical direction.

The EP also arrives as Karan Aujla prepares to bring his music to Birmingham, where he is set to perform as part of his upcoming UK shows.
His Birmingham appearance will give fans the chance to hear tracks from the new EP alongside some of his biggest releases live.
