"Let's start from the beginning."
Salman Khan has launched a new YouTube channel, ‘Being The Salman Khan,’ giving fans a fresh, playful way to connect with the superstar.
The channel already has ten videos uploaded, each offering a light-hearted exploration of the screen persona that has defined his career.
Salman shared the channel’s link on his Instagram, personally inviting fans to explore the new digital venture he had created.
Writing alongside the link, he said: “Let’s start from the beginning. My official YouTube channel- you’ll find everything here, from A to Z.”
The format of the channel sets it apart from the typical celebrity YouTube presence that fans have come to expect from Bollywood stars.
Rather than offering personal updates or conventional behind-the-scenes content, the channel features two versions of Salman simultaneously.
One version plays an experienced acting and personality coach while the other plays a novice student earnestly learning the craft.
The coach guides the student through body movements, dialogue delivery and the distinctive mannerisms that audiences have long associated with Salman.
The self-aware and humorous format gives the channel a unique quality that invites fans to both laugh with him and appreciate the persona.
The channel is centred around acting lessons, body language and the qualities that have made him one of Bollywood’s most recognisable screen presences.
Salman is not entirely new to the YouTube space, having previously launched the Salman Khan Films Music channel in 2020.
That earlier channel has accumulated nearly three million subscribers and features songs from his films as well as independently released music.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, Salman had also explored singing by releasing tracks including ‘Pyaar Karona’ and ‘Tere Bina.’
Being The Salman Khan represents a further evolution of that digital engagement.
Salman joins a growing list of Bollywood stars who have turned to YouTube to connect with audiences.
On the film front, the superstar has two projects lined up that fans have been keenly waiting for ahead of their theatrical releases.
He will next be seen in Maatrubhumi, a film that was previously known under the title Battle of Galwan.
The makers of Maatrubhumi are yet to announce a revised release date, leaving fans waiting for confirmation.
He is also set to appear in SVC63, his upcoming collaboration with South Indian star Nayanthara.
