"Do not do it to me. Do not do it to anyone."
Actor Neha Dhupia, usually known for her calm and composed public demeanour, lost her cool recently.
She confronted photographers at a recent event in Mumbai over what she termed disrespectful behaviour.
The actor was seen calling out paparazzi for taking what she called “back shots” deliberately.
She expressed considerable frustration with the persistent practice of photographers clicking pictures from behind.
Neha pointed out that actors have repeatedly requested paparazzi to stop engaging in this behaviour.
She added that they are tired of having to make the same appeal repeatedly.
Neha attended an awards ceremony in Mumbai as a guest at the event.
As the actor was leaving the venue, she confronted photographers over their picture-taking methods directly.
An uncomfortable moment with the paparazzi stole the spotlight during her departure from the ceremony.
A video of the exchange between Neha and the photographers has since surfaced widely online.
The clip captured Neha calling out the paparazzi, saying:
“Who among you is taking these back shots so disrespectfully? Who is doing it? Stop it.”
“Do not do it to me. Do not do it to anyone. We are tired of saying this over and over.
“Picking up bags and books, walking backwards – none of that will work any more.
“Put a stop to all this. We speak to you all with great respect. Do not do this.”

Before the exchange ended, Neha was also seen speaking to multiple photographers collectively.
She urged them to pass on her message to their colleagues and fellow paparazzi members.
The actress requested that they refrain from taking pictures from the back and similar disrespectful photographs going forward.
Neha also asserted the mutual respect that celebrities and the paparazzi have developed over the years.
She asked them to honour that established relationship and be more mindful while clicking.
Her remarks came after videos of her running on a track recently emerged online.
The videos seemed to spark her decision to address the broader paparazzi behaviour issue directly.
Neha is not the first actor to speak out against paparazzi behaviour publicly.
Over the years, several celebrities have voiced their discomfort over photographers filming or clicking them.
Actors have been particularly critical of being photographed from behind without consent.
Janhvi Kapoor has publicly criticised the practice of back shots on multiple occasions previously.
Manushi Chhillar has also expressed concern about photographers clicking her from behind repeatedly.
Arbaaz Khan has voiced his displeasure with this particular form of paparazzi behaviour.
Rashami Desai has spoken out against the disrespectful nature of being photographed from behind.
Shanaya Kapoor has publicly criticised photographers for engaging in this specific type of photography.
Ayesha Khan has also described the practice as disrespectful and asked paparazzi to stop.
These collective voices from the entertainment industry demonstrate a broader concern about the issue.
Photographers often try to capture candid moments without subjects’ awareness or permission these days.
The ethical implications of such photography have been debated extensively within the industry.
