Self-love and growth also plays an important role throughout PARINDA.
Indian singer, songwriter and composer Rashmeet Kaur has released her new album, PARINDA, an eight-track project exploring different forms of love through Punjabi folk and contemporary sounds.
The album brings together Punjabi folk, R&B, jazz, Sufi, rock and experimental influences.
It features songs in both Punjabi and Hindi, reflecting Rashmeet’s ability to combine traditional sounds with modern musical styles.
The tracklist includes ‘Jogi Naal’, ‘Ve Sajjna’, ‘Naal Rehja Mere’, ‘Banere’, ‘Kaise Kahoon’, ‘Sahiba’, ‘Malang’ and the title track, ‘PARINDA’.
Each song contributes to the album’s wider exploration of love and emotional connection.
The project moves through different experiences, from the excitement of new relationships to uncertainty, companionship and acceptance.
Self-love and growth also play an important role throughout PARINDA.
Rashmeet combines these themes with spirituality and self-discovery, giving the album a broader emotional focus.
Rather than focusing on one particular style, Rashmeet uses different genres to reflect the changing emotions explored across the project.
Punjabi folk remains an important influence, while contemporary production gives the songs a modern identity.
Rashmeet is known for tracks such as ‘Nadiyon Paar’, ‘Bajre Da Sitta’ and ‘Thumkeshwari’.
Her work has helped bring Punjabi folk influences to new audiences through contemporary music.
Earlier this summer, Rashmeet became the first artist to perform in both Hindi and Punjabi on Berlin-based music discovery platform COLORS.
The album follows a busy period of international performances for the singer.
Earlier in 2026, she completed a North American tour, which included headline appearances at two Canadian festivals. She also performed across four cities in the United States.
The shows added to her growing international presence and introduced her music to audiences outside India.
Rashmeet will now return to India for two headline performances before travelling to the UK and Ireland.
She will perform in Delhi on August 22 and Mumbai on August 28.
Her UK and Ireland tour will take place throughout September:
- September 17 – Manchester
- September 20 – Edinburgh
- September 24 – London
- September 27 – Birmingham
- September 28 – Dublin
The shows will also provide audiences with an opportunity to hear material from PARINDA live.
Rashmeet Kaur has previously appeared at several major international festivals and music events. Her performances include SummerStage, JUNOSFEST, SXSW and Luminato Festival.
Her international performances have helped establish her as an artist capable of bringing South Asian musical influences to global audiences.
Rashmeet’s work continues to connect traditional Punjabi sounds with contemporary genres.
The album also arrives at an important point in her international career.
Following her North American performances, her upcoming UK and Ireland dates will expand her live presence further.
As Rashmeet Kaur prepares for her September tour, PARINDA offers a new chapter in her musical journey.
The album brings together Punjabi and Hindi music with contemporary influences while exploring love, spirituality and self-discovery.
