"Ed! We'll sort you out."
Ed Sheeran has asked his fans for Indian restaurant recommendations ahead of his return to India for his biggest tour in the country.
The British pop star enjoyed a sold-out show in Mumbai in March 2024, which saw a surprise appearance from Diljit Dosanjh.
The pair performed Diljit’s hit track ‘Lover’ and fans were pleased to see Ed singing in Punjabi.
Ed is now returning to India for his biggest tour, performing in six cities.
He expressed his excitement by sharing a compilation of his previous time in India, featuring great moments on stage and meeting Armaan Malik.
The video also featured Ed’s praise for Indian fans, such as, “everything I’ve come across in India is all to do with the heart” and “no crowd like this”.
He also said: “This is just the beginning.”
Ed kept to his word as he is returning to the country, with his tour beginning in Pune on January 30, 2025.
Ahead of his tour, he asked fans for some food and restaurant recommendations.
Ed’s caption read: “India! Coming back for my biggest tour ever there next week.
“Will be popping up all over the country.
“Let me know some recommendations in the comments on food/restaurants to try in the cities I’m going to, and musicians I should check out.
“Oh, and the sports games I should go to. Can’t wait to be back in one of my favourite places on earth.”
Fans took to the comments section in their droves to give their tips, as one said:
“Please have Bhavesh Chinese in Gorai.”

Insisting that the best food is close to home, another fan commented:
“So Ed in Chennai, just give me a call and I’ll take you to my house and we can have the best food in town which is my mom’s food.”
One person recommended: “You should definitely try Butter Chicken, Chole Bature, Masala Dosa, Gulab Jamun, Jalebi, Pav Bhaji, Vada Pav, Pani Puri.”
A comment read: “Lucknow is best for non-veg and street food.”
Stating that the most authentic Indian food is not found in restaurants, a user said:
“Don’t go to restaurants, eat at thelas for a real Indian taste.”
Meanwhile, Mumbai Foodie promised to help Ed Sheeran with all his culinary needs, writing:
“Ed! We’ll sort you out.”
Away from food, some believed Ed Sheeran’s India tour was a sign of something bigger, as one posted:
“I’m still convinced there’s some kind of Indian-inspired song on your new album.”
