His full name is Jaskaran Singh Aujla, while another man named Jaskaran Singh had reportedly been arrested in Ontario, Canada.

His Australian visa was subsequently approved, allowing him to travel and perform in the country.
Aujla had also previously performed in Australia without experiencing similar visa problems.
