He mentioned that he initially did not want to respond but felt compelled to clarify his stance to everyone after the videos went viral.
The former anchor defended himself by stating that the officer had no right to make such a personal remark while wearing a uniform.
The journalist emphasised that government employees should focus on their official duties rather than engaging in any political talk.
Supporters believe that the provocation from the airport staff justified the emotional reaction from the well-known television personality.
