Iqrar shed light on the challenges he faces.
Iqrar Ul Hassan recently stepped into the spotlight by confronting a prominent cleric known as ‘Shuf Shuf Sarkar’.
Pir Haq Khateeb is a well-known personality in Pakistan who commands a substantial following.
The cleric became famous after videos of him performing medical and spiritual miracles went viral.
In the videos, he would be fixing disabled people just by blowing on them, making the sound ‘Shuf Shuf’.
This ultimately led him to be called ‘Shuf Shuf Sarkar’.
Although his videos are quite popular, they are mostly enjoyed by the audience for their ridiculousness.
Iqrar Ul Hassan recently embarked on a mission to uncover what he claims are deceptive practices.
Through a series of programmes, Iqrar delved into the alleged magic tricks and questionable practices of this cleric.
As his revelations gained traction, the situation escalated when Pir Haq Khateeb bad-mouthed Iqrar.
The confrontation took a darker turn as menacing messages targeting both Iqrar and his lineage began to surface.
In February 2024, a senior journalist was attacked in Gujranwala by Pir’s followers.
Speaking candidly, Iqrar shed light on the challenges he faces.
He spoke particularly regarding criticisms of his family background and his father.
Delving into the complexities of his personal history, Iqrar Ul Hassan revealed that when he endeavours to expose others, they often retaliate.
Usually, they do so by attempting to tarnish his reputation and invoke discussions about his father, who is no longer a part of his immediate family.
Emphasising his lineage, Iqrar clarified: “I belong to the Naqvi Bukhari Syed sect.”
He recounted how his father’s decision to remarry during his childhood led to their separation, with his father eventually relocating to Germany.
Despite this, Iqrar Ul Hassan maintains a respectful distance, acknowledging his father as a respectable figure.
Addressing the accusations regarding his background, he refuted claims made by ‘Shuf Shuf Sarkar’.
He highlighted his Syed lineage and ancestral roots tracing back to Bukhara. In response to challenges to his heritage, he affirmed:
“I am Naqvi Bukhari Syed, and my ancestors hail from Bukhara.”
Dismissing doubts cast upon his lineage, Iqrar Ul Hassan called attention to the proper channels available for verifying records.
He emphasised the importance of factual accuracy in matters of personal heritage.
