Jazzy B has built a career spanning decades

The Leamington & Warwick Mela brought a major celebration of South Asian music and culture to Mill Gardens on August 15, 2026.

Thousands of visitors gathered for an afternoon of live music, entertainment, food and community activities.

The headline line-up featured some of Punjabi music’s best-known names, including Jazzy B, Aman Hayer, KS Makhan, Kaka Mohanwalia and Khushi Kaur.

Jazzy B was among the biggest names on the bill, bringing his distinctive Punjabi music style to the Mela stage.

His appearance allowed fans to see the Canadian-born Punjabi star perform in Warwickshire.

Jazzy B has built a career spanning decades, becoming one of the most recognisable names in Punjabi music.

Aman Hayer also performed during the festival, adding another established voice from the British Punjabi music scene.

Known for his work across Punjabi music, Hayer has developed a strong following among audiences in the UK and internationally.

KS Makhan was another major name featured on the Mela line-up.

The singer has been associated with Punjabi folk and bhangra music throughout his career.

The programme also featured Kaka Mohanwalia, continuing the event’s focus on Punjabi music and live entertainment.

Khushi Kaur was also part of the performer line-up, bringing a younger voice to the festival’s entertainment programme.

Together, the artists provided a varied musical programme for audiences throughout the day.

The event was designed to bring communities together through music, dance, food and cultural activities.

Warwick District Council described the Mela as a community-led festival celebrating the diversity of the district.

The programme combined internationally recognised artists with local and emerging talent.

A main performance stage formed a central part of the event, alongside food stalls, community stalls and activities.

The festival was particularly designed to be welcoming to families and young people.

The Mela ran from 12 pm until 8 pm at Mill Gardens on Willes Road.

The event allowed local South Asian communities to celebrate their culture while welcoming visitors from across Warwickshire.

With a line-up featuring established Punjabi artists and emerging performers, the 2026 Mela placed live music at the heart of its celebrations.

The event also demonstrated the growing presence of South Asian cultural celebrations across communities outside major UK cities.

For audiences in Leamington Spa and Warwick, the festival provided a day of Punjabi music, cultural entertainment and community celebration.
