Laurence Fox is to stand trial accused of sex offences after he allegedly shared an upskirting photo of Narinder Kaur.

The disgraced actor and failed politician is accused of reposting the image on his X account in April 2024.

It showed Narinder climbing out of a taxi in 2009.

The image was taken without her consent or knowledge.

Laurence Fox arrived at Woolwich Crown Court today holding hands with girlfriend Elizabeth Barker. No formal pleas were entered, but a trial date was scheduled for December 6, 2027, at the same court.

Narinder, who waived her right to anonymity, sat in the public gallery to observe the hearing.

The 47-year-old faces two charges under the Sexual Offences Act 2003.

The first alleges that on April 30, 2024, he “intentionally shared a photograph which showed, or appeared to show, another person, namely Narinder Kaur, in an intimate state, with the intention of causing that person alarm, distress or humiliation”.

The second states he “intentionally sent” a photograph of Narinder’s genitals, “intending that the person or another person would see… and for the purpose of obtaining sexual gratification, and being reckless as to whether that person would be caused alarm, distress or humiliation”.

If convicted, he could receive a prison sentence of up to two years and be placed on the Sex Offenders Register.

Fox is next due to appear in court for a case management hearing on November 14, 2025.

Sarah Forshaw KC, defending, questioned the length of delay until the trial, asking the court if would be possible to look at whether other venues may be able to accommodate an earlier trial as “December 2027 is a long way ahead”.

Narinder Kaur previously said:

“I felt violated, humiliated and degraded.”

In a Times article, she wrote: “It’s like being assaulted every day, every time I tweet or go online, being called names again and again to the point where I come off social media altogether.

“He said the image was circulated in a WhatsApp group he was part of and that’s how he came by it. That made me feel sick.

“Every day I wake up and go to sleep horrified.

“It’s all because Laurence Fox and his gang of Merry Men decided I needed to be put in my place. I want it to go away, to disappear.”
