"I'm not okay... it's been hell."

Laurence Fox has been slammed online after he posted an indecent photo of TV presenter Narinder Kaur.

The controversial actor-turned-politician took to X to mock Ms Kaur.

Appearing to criticise Ms Kaur for her alleged opinions on former glamour model Leilani Dowding, Fox tweeted:

“I for one applaud the celebration of modesty which Narinder highlighted in her criticism of ?@LeilaniDowding for getting her b**s out.

“We need standards in public life.”

Alongside the caption was a compromising paparazzi photo of Ms Kaur in the back of a vehicle.

The photo, taken by a paparazzi photographer, showed Narinder without any underwear on.

The picture was taken without Ms Kaur’s knowledge or consent when it was sent to picture sites by the paparazzi.

Believed to have been taken in the 2000s, the image was removed from online platforms following the ban on upskirting images.

The criminal offence of ‘upskirting’ was created under the Voyeurism Act and came into force on April 12, 2019.

Police and prosecutors have now updated their guidance to ensure the law is properly enforced – with offenders facing up to two years in jail and being placed on the sex offenders register.

Unsurprisingly, Laurence Fox was blasted by X users, with many accusing him of engaging in revenge porn.

Broadcaster Esther Krakue said:

“This is low, even for you.”

However, Fox did not back down on his decision to share the picture, replying:

“She’s a nasty racist who has mocked @LeilaniDowding for her Page Three days.

“She can go cry victim all she wants. It’s not my fault she forgot to put her pants on, the whining cry bully hypocrite.”

Hitting back at another user, Fox said:

“I didn’t take the photo and I didn’t forget to put my pants on. Jog on.”

The X user then claimed that while Laurence Fox may not be the original source of the photo, sharing it amounted to criminal intimate image abuse.

Another netizen said: “Revenge porn isn’t worthy of you darling.”

Fox responded: “I think you might need to look up the definition of ‘revenge porn’.

“It’s not my fault she forgot to put her pants on.”

Laurence Fox’s actions have left Narinder Kaur visibly distressed and she said:

“I’m not okay… it’s been hell.”

She is currently seeking legal advice against Fox.

Narinder Kaur has since taken to X to say that the police are now involved.

A spokesperson for the Met Police said:

“We have been made aware of a post on social media regarding an upskirting offence and we are currently investigating the circumstances.”

This comes ahead of the London Assembly election, where Fox is running for Mayor, which has drawn in support from Tristan Tate and Tommy Robinson.

Following the backlash and legal action Ms Kaur is pursuing, Laurence Fox has deleted the original tweet.
