Indian Man killed Elder Brother suspecting Affair with Wife

In a shocking incident, which emerged from Rajasthan, an Indian man killed his elder brother during the night of Friday, October 25, 2019.

Aidan Ram Ghanchi murdered 55-year-old brother Mangi Lal Ghanchi after suspecting that he was having an affair with his wife.

He had used a sharp farming tool to attack his brother, leaving him with severe head injuries.

The family discovered the body of Mangi Lal in his bed and immediately called the police. Aidan Ram was the prime suspect as he was nowhere to be found.

Police later tracked him down and arrested him. The incident happened in the village of Mandia.

The victim lived with his mother, brother and sister-in-law. Mangi Lal and Aidan Ram used to work as farmers in the village.

Mangi Lal’s family live in Mumbai where his children run a business.

According to officers, Aidan Ram believed that his elder brother was having an affair with his wife. The suspicions eventually prompted the Indian man to come up with a plan to kill Mangi Lal.

On Friday, October 25, 2019, Mangi Lal had his dinner before going to his bedroom while the other family members slept in other rooms.

During the night when everyone was asleep, Aidan Ram got up and grabbed a sharp farming tool from his tractor before going into his brother’s room.

He stabbed Mangi Lal in the head numerous times before leaving the room.

The victim sustained serious head injuries, which led to his death as a result of intense bleedding.

Meanwhile, Aidan Ram fled to the Rajasthani village of Chowk.

On Saturday morning, family members called the police after discovering the body of Mangi Lal, which was covered in blood.

A police team led by officers Chug Singh Sodha and Bhanwarlal Patel launched a murder investigation.

After being informed about Aidan Ram, officers managed to locate him in Chowk where they made the arrest.

When questioned at the police station, the suspect confessed to murdering his elder brother.

He explained to officers that he carried out the murder after becoming suspicious that Mangi Lal was having an illicit relationship with his wife.

Aidan Ram was remanded in custody and was booked under the murder section of the Indian Penal Code.

Meanwhile, the victim’s body was taken to a mortuary where a post-mortem will be conducted once Mangi Lal’s wife and children arrive from Mumbai.
