"one of the most beautiful compliments that you could give"

Badshah reacted to the backlash surrounding his “make babies” tweet about Dua Lipa, defending his comment.

The Indian rapper attracted negative attention after posting a cryptic tweet that read “Dua Lipa” along with a love heart emoji.

Some fans saw it as a sign of admiration for the global singer. Others speculated whether a musical collaboration might be on the cards.

One hopeful fan commented: “Are you making a track with her bhai?”

However, Badshah caused shock when he replied: “I’d rather make babies with her bro.”

That single line triggered a wave of criticism across social media.

Many accused the rapper of objectifying the singer, while others called the remark tasteless and inappropriate.

One user posted: “EWWWWW what a creep. Women really can’t catch a break online or in real life.”

Another angry tweet read: “WHAT’S WITH THIS ‘HAVE BABIES’ JOKE? How can you say that and not be so disgusted with yourself you want to bathe!”

Badshah later attempted to explain his words.

Defending his initial tweet, he wrote:

“I think one of the most beautiful compliments that you could give to a woman that you really admire is to wish for her to mother your children.

“It’s not my thinking that’s been revealed, it’s yours.”

But this clarification only sparked more outrage. Many saw it as a weak attempt to cover up an inappropriate comment.

One person wrote: “Your comment about Dua Lipa was not just offensive, it was downright cheap, please spare us the act of playing saint now.”

Others accused Badshah of trivialising serious issues.

A tweet stated:

“Wtf… that is sexual harassment in the most explicit terms, Badshah.”

Another critic added: “That was a clever way to defend and hide your crude remarks about wanting to get another woman pregnant. Grow up, weirdo!”

Yo Yo Honey Singh weighed in on the matter, sarcastically writing:

“Genius.”

Fans instantly recognised it as a sly dig.

One person wrote: “Paaji using sarcasm.”

The remark stirred renewed discussion about the long-running feud between the artists.

The pair were part of the rap group Mafia Mundeer but after a clash, Badshah and Honey Singh parted ways and appeared to aim jibes at each other on social media.
