“EWWWWW, what a creep."
Badshah has faced sharp criticism online after making a controversial remark about Dua Lipa.
The comment, made in response to a fan on X, has divided the internet.
On June 6, 2025, the Indian rapper posted the cryptic message “Dua Lipa“, along with a love heart emoji.
His tweet got fans speculating, with some wondering if it was a hint at a collaboration.
A fan asked: “Are you making a track with her?”
Badshah replied: “I’d rather make babies with her, bro.”
The comment sparked immediate backlash, with critics calling his statement “cheap” and “creepy”, accusing Badshah of being inappropriate.
One X user wrote: “WHAT’S WITH THIS ‘HAVE BABIES’ JOKE?
“How can you say that and not be so disgusted with yourself you want to bathe!”
Another added: “EWWWWW, what a creep. Women really can’t catch a break online or in real life.”
A third added: “Cringe. Why acting like a nibba? No class, agh.”
Others compared Badshah to Kanye West, with comments like “Indian Kanye West”, while some called the post “disgusting” and said, “This is too much.”
One person believed the comment would make some think that this is how all Indians think.
Some users dismissed the comment as a joke, saying Father’s Day is coming up.
While Badshah’s comment drew some support, with fans praising his “confidence” and finding the post “hilarious”, critics argued that it reflected the wider issue of how women are treated online.
Meanwhile, Badshah recently raised eyebrows with his dramatic weight loss transformation.
Some praised his new look, and others compared him to AP Dhillon.
He spoke about his weight loss journey in 2022 during an appearance on Shilpa Shetty’s show.
Badshah said:
“I had many reasons for losing weight.”
“We did no shows during the lockdown, and when live performances resumed, I realised I didn’t have the stamina.
“My work requires me to be active for 120 minutes or so when performing on stage. I started panting in just 15 minutes. As a performer, I have to give my best. That was a major reason.”
Badshah is now gearing up for his The Un-Finished Tour in the US. The tour kicks off with a show in Virginia on September 5, followed by performances in New Jersey, the Bay Area, Seattle, and Dallas, before concluding on September 20 at Now Arena in Chicago.
