Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh and actress Hazel Keech are to tie the knot after a year-long engagement.
A source reveals: “The schedule date of reception would be worked out between December 5 and 7.
“The wedding is happening on November 30.”
‘Yuvi’ proposed to the 29-year-old model-turned-actress in Bali in late 2015.
Following this, they discussed plans for a closed ceremony that would involve both Sikh and Hindu celebrations.
It is rumored to be a four-day affair spanning from Delhi to Chandigarh. Although behind closed doors, the couple has arranged a substantial event.
Yuvraj has been a member of the India ODI team since 2000 and more recently joined the Sunrisers Hyderabad for the IPL 2016 season.
He helped steer the team to success as they beat Royal Challengers Bangalore to the title by eight runs.
Discussing the ceremony with DNA, Yuvi states: “You get married only once. A wedding is an occasion you want to celebrate with everyone.
“We will have a couple of events to make sure all my cricketer friends get to attend them.”
Fiancée Hazel is of British and Mauritian decent and grew up in the UK. She started out in Agatha Christie’s Marple and as an extra in the Harry Potter films.
But her fame mostly came from her performances in Billa in 2007 and more recently for a supporting role in Hindi film Bodyguard (2011).
Appearing on The Kapil Sharma Show, the star couple poke fun at the start of their relationship.
Apparently, it took Yuvraj three years to get Hazel to agree to go on a date with him!
A story involving failed coffee dates and Yuvi warning friends away from Miss Keech ends happily however.
And Yuvi suspected it would, since he professed from the start that Hazel would marry him someday.
They are yet to book their honeymoon. Talking about their busy schedules, Yuvi says:
“Too much has been happening in my life over the past few months. When I get some time, I will finalise a destination.”
