"Disgusting the way they treated and ganged up on him."
BBC The Traitors viewers have slammed the current cast and accused them of “bullying” Kasim after he was banished.
The latest episode saw the moment the doctor was sent home after receiving the most votes at the roundtable.
After being banished, host Claudia Winkleman asked Kas to reveal whether he had been a Traitor or a Faithful.
Kasim revealed: “It’s been fantastic, and you are all fantastic people. I know it’s just a game.
“And Joe, who’d have thought you’d have caught me based on a twinkle in the eye.
“On the first roundtable, I was selected to be a Faithful.”
His fellow contestants reacted in shock, with many soon breaking down in tears as they voiced their guilt.
But viewers were furious as they claimed the cast had “screwed over” Kasim and “bullied him out of the game”.
Throughout the episode, Kasim became visibly more downtrodden after facing off suspicions at every roundtable.
He was immediately suspected because of his job, with it being said he could be “saving lives in the day and killing Faithfuls at night”.
Banished Traitor Armani inadvertently threw further suspicion his way after she insisted that he was a Faithful.
The episode on January 8, 2025, saw him forced to excuse himself during dinner after Tyler refused to disclose his theories until Kasim left the room.
He admitted that he felt increasingly isolated in the castle due to the other contestants ostracising him.
When asked what his theories for who the Traitors were at the roundtable, Kasim explained he had been unable to think of any as he’d spent his whole time defending himself.
Meanwhile, returning contestant Fozia noted that he looked as though he’d “given up” before criticising the cast for excluding him:
“That means people are making this personal then and that’s not nice.”
Viewers blasted the Faithfuls as “idiots” for “voting out the smartest person among them” while accusing them of “witch-hunting” Kas, who “deserved better”.
One raged:
“Why are they making it personal and leaving Kas out? Even if they think he’s a Traitor, they’re essentially bullying him.”
Another said: “Free Kas. I hope the Traitors win now. Disgusting the way they treated and ganged up on him.”
A third added: “Fozia has been there 1 day and is already calling them out for isolating Kas, love that.
“Feel so bad for Kas, watching him walking round with nowhere to eat made me so sad.”
Slamming the cast, a viewer said:
“Kas is feeling ostracised from the group because the group are deliberately excluding him.”
Expressing sympathy, one person commented:
“Kas is getting so badly bullied here and I feel so bad for him.”
