Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding is just around the corner.
It is being said that the couple might exchange wedding vows in Mumbai, in the presence of their friends and family members in mid-April 2022.
Alia and Ranbir’s wedding will reportedly take place amidst their busy shooting schedules.
Meanwhile, Ranbir is all set to host a grand bachelor’s party ahead of his wedding.
A source close to Ranbir Kapoor told India Today that the Shamshera actor’s bachelor’s party will have some of his closest friends in attendance.
The source said: “Ranbir is extremely close to Arjun Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur and Ayan Mukerji.
“The actor is planning a bachelor’s party at his place. It will be attended by his close buddies from the world of showbiz and his childhood friends.
“This is Ranbir’s way of throwing an impromptu bachelor’s party.”
The rumours surrounding Ranbir’s bachelor’s party reminded fans of the time when Ranbir spoke about his stag party on an episode of Karan Johar’s Koffee with Karan.
In an episode of the chat show, that was attended by Ranbir and Ranveer Singh, Karan asked the Brahmastra actor about the three people he would invite to his bachelor’s party.
Ranbir named Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur.
To this, Ranveer pretended to get offended and jokingly said: “I’m not invited. Never coming back on this show. Not with you for sure.”
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding is going to take place in mid-April 2022.
A source close to the Kapoor and Bhatt families revealed:
“Alia’s maternal grandfather N Razdan is in fragile physical condition and he expressed his desire to see Alia get married to Ranbir.
“Mr Razdan has also grown quite fond of Ranbir and loves him a lot.”
The source further added: “This function does not need to be an extravagant affair because, for both families, Ranbir and Alia have been as good as married already.
“This is a small get-together and celebration to fulfil the wish of Alia’s grandfather.”
After the wedding, Alia Bhatt will be flying off to the US and begin shooting for her Hollywood debut, Heart Of Stone.
On the other hand, Ranbir will begin the shoot of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal with Rashmika Mandanna.
Brahmastra will be Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s first film after their rumoured wedding.
Brahmastra is directed by Ayan Mukerji.
Recently, the trio finished shooting for the film and it is ready for release on September 9, 2022.
Besides Ranbir and Alia, Brahmastra will also feature Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Dimple Kapadia and Mouni Roy.
