Alia’s uncle, Robin Bhatt, has confirmed that Ranbir and Alia’s wedding will be a 4-day event at the actor’s house, Vaastu.
The details of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding food menu have been revealed.
As per reports, customised cuisines will be served to the guests at the wedding.
An insider close to the development told BollywoodLife about the wedding food menu.
As per the source, Neetu Kapoor has invited special chefs from Delhi and Lucknow for her son Ranbir’s wedding.
The source revealed: “Kapoor Khandaan is a big foodie and this is no secret.
“There will be more than 50 counters of lavish food right from Italian, Mexican, Punjabi, and Afghani to everything.
“You name it, they will have it. Neetu Kapoor has invited special chefs from Delhi and Lucknow for her son’s wedding.
“It is said that there will be a big separate counter of Delhi chat.
“While from Lucknow, the chefs, who have specialised in non-vegetarian dishes, will prepare kebabs to biryanis.”
The source further revealed that since Alia Bhatt is vegan, there will be 25 separate counters of vegan and vegetarian food.
The would-be husband and wife want to ensure that their wedding day is also memorable for their respective guests.
Alia and Ranbir met in 2017, on the sets of Brahmastra, which is directed by Ayan Mukerji.
The filmmaker recently shared the couple’s poster from their upcoming film, adding that “the time feels right” to release the poster.
Brahmastra, a three-part series, has been in the making for years now.
At a film event in 2021, Ayan talked about how the couple’s relationship started from friendship.
He said: “To be honest when we started our film, I thought this is the best casting – Ranbir and Alia, powerhouses. It was just too good.
“Then Ranbir and Alia became very good friends, then very very very good friends in life, then more than friends.
“So then, I didn’t want the whole world to see them for these 4 years.”
“I didn’t want anyone to see them till my film had not come out.
“So, Lots of things haven’t happened in their lives because every time they went out together, I would be sitting at the back saying ‘you all are ruining my film. Please don’t go anywhere.’
“It feels good now that we can share them.”
