Priyanka is set to meet the stars of her upcoming production
Priyanka Chopra recently teased that she had visited Mumbai’s iconic ‘Film City’, leaving fans speculating about a possible Bollywood comeback.
She is currently in India celebrating her brother Siddharth Chopra’s wedding, but now she has left everyone wondering if there are other plans for her trip.
On August 26, 2024, she hinted on her Instagram about work commitments in India.
She also shared a video on her Instagram Story sitting inside a car entering the Film City in Mumbai.
The video was accompanied by the song ‘Ghar Aaja Pardesi’ from Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2.
This marked an emotional moment for the actress, who used crying emojis to caption her story.
According to reports, Priyanka is set to meet the stars of her upcoming production, Paani.
Paani is directed by Addinath M Kothare, who will also star in the film.
The film will be released on October 18, 2024.
In addition to her production ventures, fans wonder whether Priyanka is shooting for another Bollywood project.
The last Bollywood project she was associated with in the rumour mill was Jee Le Zaara and she was reportedly supposed to star alongside Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.
However, reports say she had to back out due to scheduling issues.
The film has reportedly been shelved for the foreseeable future.
Priyanka landed in Mumbai to attend her brother Siddharth’s wedding to Neelam Upadhyaya.
She wore a dazzling pink saree at one of the functions, channelling her inner Barbie.
Priyanka paired the saree with silver and pink jewellery and black sunglasses.
The outfit was a hit with social media as one user commented: “Berry berry berry stunning.”
Another said:
“How can someone look that gorgeous? She is just ageing like fine wine.”
At another function, Priyanka wore an embroidered orange suit with a V neckline and a relaxed silhouette.
This was paired with golden thread embroidery on the neckline and sleeves and matching embroidered trousers and a dupatta.
Her hair was styled in a high bun, with two pieces left out to frame her face.
On the work front, in Hollywood, Priyanka Chopra recently wrapped up the filming of her upcoming movie, The Bluff, directed by Frank E Flowers.
She will also star alongside John Cena, Idris Elba, and Jack Quaid in the action comedy Heads of State, which is directed by Ilya Naishuller.
