‘Aavan Jaavan’ is the first song from the upcoming War 2. The film is the sixth instalment of the YRF Spy Universe.
In the romantic number, the sizzling pair Hrithik Roshan (Kabir Dhaliwal) and Kiara Advani (Kavya Luthra) is showcased for the first time onscreen.
‘Aavan Jaavan’ is adorned with a breezy track and shows the two leads epitomising charm and love.
The music video features Kabir and Kavya dressed in vibrant clothing and dancing in alluring settings.
In one scene, Kavya gazes lovingly at Kabir as he sits by her side.
This still proved that fans can expect infectious chemistry between the two characters.
The song also showed Kiara in her bikini look, which went viral as soon as the teaser for War 2 was released.
When the teaser came out, Kiara said: “Lots of firsts in this. First YRF film, first action film, first with these two amazing heroes.
“First collaboration with Ayan. And of course, first bikini shot.”
In the song, Kabir was seen gazing at Kavya as she looked sexy in her green bikini, showing off her legs and applying lotion to her skin.
‘Aavan Jaavan’ has been composed by Pritam and sung by Arijit Singh and Nikhita Gandhi.
Fans took to YouTube to praise the song, especially Hrithik and Arijit’s vocals.
Underneath the music video, one viewer said: “Kiara tried her best. But still, you can’t take your eyes off Hrithik when he is in the song.
“God of screen charisma!”
Another added: “Arijit’s voice isn’t just singing – it’s pure magic. He had filled the song with a lot of emotions.
“Without him, Bollywood feels like a sky without stars.”
Praising Pritam, a third fan said: “I think Pritam is India’s greatest ever composer. He is truly, truly a GOAT.”
In another scene, Kavya and Kabir were clad in white, grooving sensually to the rhythm.
However, the romance in ‘Aavan Jaavan’ may be short-lived.
The trailer of War 2 suggested that Kavya and Kabir may turn on each other when the former drew a gun on Kabir.
The characters were then seen engaging in one-to-one combat. Posting the song on Instagram, Hrithik wrote:
“Once upon a time, Kabir had hope, joy, and love.”
War 2 is directed by Ayan Mukerji and also stars NT Rama Rao Jr in his Hindi film debut.
The film is scheduled to be released on August 14, 2025.
Many cinemas in the UK, including Vue and Cineworld, have now opened bookings for War 2.
