On the cricket field, the Pakistan women’s team registered their first victory of the Women’s Cricket World Cup.

The green shirty defeated West Indies by eight wickets in a match which was reduced to twenty overs due to rain.

The Windies struggled to 89-7 in their twenty overs. The Women in Green comfortably made 90-2 with seven balls to spare.

The day-night match took place at Seddon Park, Hamilton, New Zealand on March 21, 2022.

This was Pakistan’s first win in the tournament. Pakistan had not performed to their potential in this competition.

However, Najiha Alvi and Diana Baig have entertained everyone with their singing performances.

It will be interesting to see if any more Pakistani cricketers will showcase their singing in the tournament. Fans will just have to wait and watch.
