From 2018 onwards, ZEE5 has streamed some really good bold and sexy web series via their subscription-based Video-on-Demand (VOD) service.
The Essel Group has been managing ZEE5 through its subsidiary, Zee Entertainment Enterprises since launching on February 14, 2018.
Unconventional stories and a biopic lead these multi-lingual shows with a fair amount of sexual content. Many of these sexy web series also highlight genres such as thriller, crime, mystery and romance.
Famous Bollywood names like Arbaaz Khan and Aftab Shivdasani became digital debutants on ZEE5.
Filmmaker Sujay Dahake, also made his online debut, directing and starring in the series, Sex, Drugs & Theatre (2019).
Here are 6 bold and sexy web series that viewers can watch on this premium platform.

Karenjit Kaur: The Untold Story of Sunny Leone (2018)
Karenjit Kaur: The Untold Story of Sunny Leone is a bold ZEE5 original web series.
The biopic web show reflects the journey of the former porn star and actress Sunny Leone who was born as Karenjit Kaur.
The series closely also zooms into her history, family and personal lives as well. Rysa Saujani (young Karenjit), Karamvir Lamba (Sundeep) have crucial roles in the series
Bijay Jasjit Anand (Jaspal Singh Vohra) Grusha Kapoor (Balwant Kaur Vohra) and Marc Buckner (Daniel Webber: Karenjit’s husband) also have important characters.
Cape Town (South Africa) and Mumbai (India) are the two primary locations of the series. There are scenes of sex and nudity in the series, which is available in various languages.
Sunny Leone told Zee News she was a little hesitant at the start. Additionally, it was very challenging to tell her story:
“I told different incidents, they have beautifully been weaved in the story. It was not easy at all. There is not one thing, the whole story is important.
“I think the curiosity is in my fans, who want to know about me, so when you are telling your story, then that should be true, whatever things have happened with you.
“And after talking to everyone I was satisfied that if it would be my story then I can do it. But I did not know it would be so difficult. ”
Karenjit Kaur: The Untold Story of Sunny Leone has a total of twenty episodes over three seasons.
Season one comprising of ten episodes came out on July 16, 2018. Season two with six parts released on September 18, 2018.
The final season consisting of four episodes went on air from April 5, 2019.
Sex Drugs & Theatre (2019)
Sex, Drugs & Theatre is a Marathi bold web series. It is ZEE5 original release. Marking his digital debut is filmmaker and director of this series, Sujay Dahake.
Most of the cast are familiar as they come from the Marathi film industry.
The series stars Shalva Kinjawadikar, Mitali Mayekar, Nayannah Mukey, Aadish Vaidya, Suyash Zunzurke, Abhishek Deshmukh, Pravin Trade and Sunil.
The director Sujay also has a pivotal role in the series. The web show is about the lives of six students from the art department who are into sex and drugs.
They reluctantly unite together to put on a play and feature in a prominent competition. Saraah T writing in her blog for prettylilthingss1, compliments the series, saying:
“Sex, Drugs & Theatre is a masterpiece and a definite must-watch for those who seek novel themes in the Indian web space.
“This story of love, friendship and politics of college life is unlike anything you have seen before.”
Releasing in 2019, the sexy web series has ten episodes in total.
Poison (2019)
Poison is a Hindi action crime thriller bold web series. Shiraz Ahmed is the writer of the show, with Jatin Wagle writing it.
Bollywood actor Arbaaz Khan marks his digital debut with this series. The other main cast from the series includes Riya Sen, Freddy Daruwala and Tanuj Virwani.
The series shows Ranveer (Tanuj Virwani) shifting to Goa upon release from prison and taking revenge from his arch-rivals.
Parallel to this, DSP Vikram (Freddy Daruwala) wants to arrest Goa-based don Antonio Verghese (Arbaaz Khan).
The plot intensifies as the lives of the trio get entangled. Riya who plays the role of Natasha shares her thoughts about an intimate kissing scene with Freddy:
“As an actor, if a certain level of intimacy helps to carry the narrative forward— then it is my job to perform it.
“I felt that for my character in Poison, hence the moment of physical intimacy was appropriate.”
Season one containing ten episodes made its way on ZEE5 on April 19, 2019. Each episode runs for approximately thirty minutes.
Season two of the series, marking the digital debut of Aftab Shivdasani is also about revenge. The original release date for Poison 2 is October 16, 2020.
Other lead stars in season two include Raai Laxmi (Sara), Pooja Chopra (Isha) and Rahul Dev (Sikander).
RejctX (2019)
RejctX is a Hindi bold and vivacious high school dram. Goldie Behl is the writer and director of this two-season sexy web series.
The primary cast features Sumeet Vyaas, Kubbra Sait, Ahmed Masi Wali, Ridhi Khakar, Anisha Victor, Pooja Shetty and Ayush Khurrana.
The coming of age web series covers many themes including gender fluid, shaming tactics, personality disorders, porn habits and rapping.
The web series revolves around a group of students studying at an elite international establishment, the Jefferson World School.
The show focuses on youthful love and lust, along with a mysterious murder that causes fresh animosities. Ahead of season two, Goldie Behl spoke to the media, highlighting the series:
“Neither has there been a series which could change the image of youngsters nor has there been a musical on the digital platform.
“When Zee gave me the go-ahead I was wondering how I could bring novelty to it.”
Season one consisting of ten episodes, which was an instant hit came out on July 25, 2019.
The eight-part season two was released on May 14, 2020. Each episode has an approximate run time of fourty-five minutes.
The Casino (2019)
The Casino is yet another Hindi thrilling bold and sexy web series, which is a direction of Hardik Gajjar and Tushar Bhatia.
Karanvir Bohra (Vicky, Vikramaditya Singh Marvah) and Mandana Karimi (Rehana Chaudhari) made their digital debuts with this web show.
The series follows the story of a casino boss Shailendra Singh Marvah (Sudhanshu Pandey) and his son.
Vicky who is a reluctant heir to this lavishing casino in Nepal manages it with his father. Having said that, The Casino has a bigger twist to the plot.
An alluring Rehana, the former mistress of Shailendra cleverly manipulates Vicky.
Falling into the seductive traps of Rehana, Vicky has to overcome this deception and claim his throne before she damages him and takes over the casino.
Camilla Khurana (Aindrita Rai) helps Vicky along the way, fighting off the dominant Rehana.
In the series, Rehana is seen wearing slit dresses. There is sexual content in this web series. An IMDB user, reviewing the series gave it 10/10, writing:
“One of the bestest Webseries made in india so far….. Specially the level suspense that was created in every episode was epic……
“How the mind games were played, beautifully arranged……. Karanvir bohra was really awesome throughout the series…. loved it.”
The series has ten episodes, with each part having a running time of twenty-five minutes each.

Forbidden Love (2020)
Forbidden Love is a Hindi mini romantic thriller and sexy web series on ZEE5. It is an anthology of four short films.
There is a different director for each short film. They include Priyadarshan, Pradeep Sarkar, Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury and Mahesh Manjrekar.
The series is also featuring several famous stars, including Ali Fazal, Aditya Seal, Patralekha, Pooja Kumar, Raima Sen, Vikrant Massey, Rajeev Khandelwal and Taapsee Pannu.
Homosexuality, infidelity, jealousy are some of the dark elements of love that the series unfolds.
There are spicy scenes in the series, which are not suitable for young kids. Praising the performances of Aditya and Pooja, a reviewer for Streamigdue writes:
“I liked the character of Aditya Seal, the character of Pooja was also very good with him.
“Overall, the actors in the series have done a good job and they will not disappoint you.”
The first two parts, Arranged Marriage and Anamika made their entry on September 9, 2020. The remaining two films, Rules of the Game and Diagnosis of Love released on September 24, 2020.
Each film with plenty of romance and suspense has a running time of fourty-five minutes.
