“Rhea did not name any Bollywood actors.”

Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde has stated that the actress did not reveal any Bollywood names during her probe by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).

According to several media reports, Rhea Chakraborty named 25 Bollywood stars who were reportedly involved in procuring and consuming drugs.

Allegedly, Rhea named actresses like Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh as well as designer Simone Khambatta.

However, advocate Satish Maneshinde has denied the claims in his recent interview with CNN News18.

Refuting the reports, Maneshinde stated, “Rhea did not name any Bollywood actors.”

He was further questioned about Rhea’s talent manager Jaya Saha’s role in Bollywood’s drug case.

In fact, her interrogation by NCB officials has revealed names like Deepika Padukone, Madhu Mantena and Shraddha Kapoor.

Commenting on the same, he said: “What Jaya has done is to her knowledge.”

Sharing the news, CNN News18 took to Twitter stating:

“#BollywoodDrugLink | Being in the household of Sushant Singh Rajput cannot be termed as a syndicate, there is no allegation that she dealt with anybody.

“NCB was set up to investigate serious cases: Satish Maneshinde (Rhea’s Lawyers).”

Satish Maneshinde also went on to comment on Jaya and Rhea’s WhatsApp conversation about administering a substance to Sushant Singh Rajput.

It was believed the pair were discussing how to give the late actor CBD Oil. A part of the conversation read:

“Use 4 drops in tea, let him sip it … Give it 30-40 mins to kick in.”

However, Satish Maneshinde revealed an extract of ganja leaves was given to Sushant Singh Rajput. He said:

“What Jaya had done for Sushant Singh Rajput and Rhea Chakraborty, was to send CBD Oil which is an extract of ganja leaves and is not a narcotics substance.”

Further defending his client, Rhea Chakraborty, Satish Maneshinde said:

“Being in the household of Sushant Singh Rajput cannot be termed as a syndicate, there is no allegation that she dealt with anybody.

“NCB was set up to investigate serious cases.”

Sushant Singh Rajput’s death investigation led to the exposure of Bollywood’s link to narcotics.

It has been disclosed the Narcotics Control Bureau has summoned actress Deepika Padukone on Friday, 25 September 2020.

This will be followed by Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor being summoned for interrogation on Saturday, 26 September 2020.

There is no doubt their interrogation will unravel the mystery further.
