"Stop adding fuel to the fire."
Few Bollywood feuds have been as infamous as that of Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan.
The pair’s equation initially began as a friendly one, with the duo starring in Hrithik’s home production, Kites (2010).
Hrithik and Kangana went on to act in Krrish 3 (2013) together.
However, things soured between them in 2016, when Kangana referred to Hrithik as a “silly ex”.
Hrithik then sent Kangana Ranaut a legal notice.
The actress issued a counter notice, alleging that he was simply trying to cover up their affair to protect his divorce proceedings.
At the time of the alleged affair, Hrithik was married to Sussanne Khan. They divorced in 2014.
Hrithik has since begun a relationship with Saba Azad.
He has always maintained that he never had any kind of personal equation with Kangana.
The star also alleged that Kangana had sent him hundreds of explicit emails and had tried to stalk him.
Ultimately, the case was closed due to a lack of evidence.
In August 2026, a fan created an Instagram post stating: “The world owes an apology to Hrithik Roshan.”
To this, Hrithik commented: “My friend, siding with A just because you don’t like B anymore is a small part of the larger systemic issue plaguing our society.
“I’ll wait, for when the context to it is the right one, and motivated by facts.
“That would be fair. But then again, who cares anymore, right?”
While Hrithik was praised for his dignified response, Kangana Ranaut issued her own reaction to the row.
Posting an article containing the information on her Instagram Story, the Queen star wrote:
“Dear Hrithik, I am happy you have found your perfect match.
“Saba Azad and you both look great together.”
“You are in a committed relationship, and it doesn’t suit you to tease a woman like this.
“Instead, you should condemn all those who are harassing and bullying me using your name.
“Stop adding fuel to the fire and embarrassing your partner.
“Hope better sense prevails and you stop making unreasonable comments.”
In 2019, Hrithik opened up about his legal battle with Kangana.
He said: “I have come to realise that bullies have to be treated with a certain amount of patience, and not be engaged with.
“It is upon the civil society and those who claim to be just and fair to see and observe if there is harassment.
“There is no legal case that I directly have with [Kangana], and the reason I cannot have one is because apparently a guy cannot be stalked in India.”
On the work front, Hrithik Roshan was last seen in War 2 (2025).
Kangana Ranaut was last seen in Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata (2026).
