Just when we thought Bollywood celebrities, Hrithik and Kangana had finally stopped making unpleasant remarks about each other in public, Kangana has poked fun at Hrithik one more time adding fuel to the hullabaloo involving the A-listers that simply refuses to die down.
Here’s how the fresh hubbub began.
Actor-model-host Neha Dhupia asked Kangana who could be presented with the title, ‘Thank God they have famous parents or they’d be nowhere’, to which Kangana was quick to respond – “Hrithik
Roshan, you know it’s true.”
The ‘Queen’ actor was a guest at Dhupia’s popular podcast, #NoFliter best, when she made this scandalous statement.
Not so long ago, speaking to a daily, Hrithik Roshan’s father Rakesh Roshan had firmly expressed that his son was somebody very different from Kangana as he stayed calm and dignified
despite the fact, she (Kangana) was spreading lies about him (Hrithik).
The filmmaker also went one step ahead and claimed, “If Hrithik did choose to come out with the truth, it will shock everyone.”
Kangana Ranaut didn’t take too kindly to what was said about her by the Bollywood veteran. During the launch of author Chetan Bhagat’s new novel, Miss Ranaut blatantly criticised Hrithik’s father for speaking up for his ‘old’ son.
“Why can’t men stand up for themselves? He (Hrithik Roshan) is a 43-year-old man. I just can’t understand why his father has to come to rescue him from all these small controversies.”
She fumed.
Her daring comment raised many eyebrows.
Hrithik-Kangana’s rift is not just limited to a war of words. Both actors have slapped legal cases against each other.
Their alleged short-lived love affair that ended in a debacle marked the beginning of one of Bollywood’s worst enmities.
It was Kanaga Ranaut’s take on the casting of ‘Aashiqui 3’ that started the uproar initially.
When asked by media why she wasn’t a part of the film, the fashionista had declared:
“Yes, many lame rumours are doing rounds, even a dumb ass can tell where these rumours are coming from. I don’t know why exes do silly things to get your attention. For me that chapter is over and I don’t dig graves.”
A rather surprised and shocked Hrithik took to Twitter and wrote:
“There r more chances of me having an affair with d Pope dan any of d(Im sure wonderful)women d media hs ben naming. Thanks but no thanks.”
What followed was a series of accusations and invective hurled at each other by the ‘exes’.
