"But the fame had its side effects."
Mohammad Shiraz’s father previously claimed that his son was quitting vlogging to focus on his education. However, the real reason has been revealed now.
Shiraz is a six-year-old boy who became famous for his vlogs, with his channel boasting 1.59 million subscribers.
He also chronicled his daily life and adventures with his sister Muskan.
However, in a surprising turn of events, Shiraz recently announced that his father had requested him to stop vlogging.
The reason behind this decision was revealed by Shiraz’s father Mohammad Taqi.
He said the fame his son achieved started to affect his life, which is why he decided to prioritise his son’s health and childhood over stardom.
Mohammad explained: “Shiraz had a simple life, he used to speak to people nicely.
“But the fame had its side effects. He stopped talking to people nicely or mingling with them.
“So, I thought I should bring back that old Shiraz.
“The second reason was he was losing interest in studies.”
Mohammad expressed gratitude over the amount of love his son has received.
YouTube has restricted the channel to the ‘Made For Kids’ category, limiting its reach and ad revenue.
To address this issue, the channel will need to incorporate adults into their videos to be removed from this category.
This may include featuring Shiraz’s father in future Vlogs.
Shiraz’s father has sought the advice of experts to resolve this issue, which he discussed in a live YouTube session.
As the situation unfolds, fans of Shiraz are eagerly watching to see how the family navigate these challenges.
A user wrote: “I am so happy to see the father taking care of his child’s well-being despite being poor. Anyone else would have used Shiraz to get fame and money.”
Another added:
“I will always support Shiraz, even after he is all grown up.”
One suggested: “It will come out of the made-for-kids category if his father comes in the vlogs. Please don’t let the channel die.”
Another said: “Such sweet and humble people. Shiraz’s confidence is a reflection of the amount of love and support he gets from his father.
“He is raising him very well. And this is a very good step they are taking.”
In his last vlog, Shiraz explained the break and took his viewers on a tour of his village.
He said: “I will not make vlogs now onwards. My father has asked me to study and not make videos for now.”
